The present invention relates to a method for making 3D stereo digital broadcast service compatible in an MPEG-2-TS format which is used for transmitting and receiving digital TV. To this end, suggested is a method for transmitting detailed information which supports both TS-level multiplexing and ES-level multiplexing when left and right compressed bitstreams are multiplexed, when service compatibility is enabled.

La presente invención se refiere a un método para hacer el servicio de radiodifusión digital estéreo 3D compatible en un formato MPEG-2-TS que se usa para la transmisión y recepción de TV digital. Para este fin, se sugiere un método para trasmitir la información detallada que soporta tanto el multiplexado nivel TS como el multiplexado nivel ES cuando los flujos de bitios comprimidos izquierdo y derecho se multiplexan, cuando se habilita la compatibilidad del servicio.

PURPOSE: A method for providing a service compatibility mode in a digital broadcast is provided to transmit detailed information for supporting both a TS level multiplexing mode and an ES level multiplexing mode in multiplexing horizontal compression bit streams. CONSTITUTION: A receiving system sets an identifier which indicates information related to a service compatibility mode. The receiving system distinguishes the service compatibility mode by the identifier in a received digital broadcast program. A left image frame and a right image frame are compressed in each transmission band at the service compatibility mode.
