Abstract:
PURPOSE: A WCDAC(Weighted Capacitor Digital-To-Analog Converter) using a charge sharing technique is provided to ensure a reduced chip area by reducing the size of a capacitor at the time of design of the WCDAC. CONSTITUTION: A WCDAC comprises an electric charge-non sharing charge unit(110), an electric charge-sharing charge unit(120), and an output unit(130). The electric charge-non sharing charge unit converts upper bits of digital data into analogue data. The electric charge-sharing charge unit is charged with electric charges corresponding to the data amount of the upper bits for the digital-to-analogue conversion. The electric charge-non sharing charge unit outputs the charged electric charges to the output unit. The electric charge-sharing charge unit converts lower bits of the digital data into analogue data. The output unit outputs the analog signal corresponding to the digital data based on the electric charges outputted the electric charge-non sharing charge unit.
Abstract:
A broadband filter of a suspended substrate structure is provided to secure a broadband and a wide stop band by inducing a load capacitance between a T type resonant circuit and a ground pattern. A broadband filter of a suspended substrate structure comprises a dielectric(111), an input line(112), an output line(118), a first resonant line(113), a second resonant line(115), and a bridge line(114). The dielectric has a predetermined dielectric constant. The input line is formed in one side of an upper surface of the dielectric. The output line is formed in the other side of a lower surface of the dielectric. The first resonant line and the second resonant line are formed on the lower surface of the dielectric, and have a T shape. The first resonant line is formed on a position corresponding to the input line. The second resonant line is formed on a position corresponding to the output line. The bridge line connects the first resonant line to the second resonant line. Both ends of the bridge line are connected to the ground pattern formed in a side of the dielectric.
