PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless system used for managing an underground facility, more specifically, a wireless communication system for managing an underground facility, capable of providing status information of the underground facility through accurate measurements in harsh underground environments of a wireless communication. SOLUTION: The wireless communication system for managing an underground facility includes, at least many sensor nodes which are attached to the underground facility and output a sensing signal via magnetic field communication, after sensing the status information of the underground facility according to a driving signal containing a transmitted wake-up signal, and an information collecting device which is configured so that the driving signal is output at the sensor node; the sensing signal transmitted from the sensor node is collected; and the collected information is transmitted to a monitoring system via short-range wireless communication. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for establishing smooth radio communication between a magnetic field communication network coordinator and an MFAN node.SOLUTION: The method for establishing smooth radio communication includes steps of: (a) transmitting a request packet for requesting one of network unification, network separation, network unification state confirmation, data transmission and group address setting; (b) receiving response packets from a node that receives the request packet; (c) selecting at least one of the response packets received in the step (b); (d) transmitting a response reception confirmation packet to a node corresponding to the response packet selected in the step (c); (e) receiving response packets retransmitted by nodes that do not receive the response reception confirmation packet of the step (d); (f) selecting at least one of the response packets received in the (e) step; and (g) transmitting response a reception confirmation packet to a nodes corresponding to the response packet selected in the step (f).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field communication method for low-power node management which improves the communication performance and efficiency of a radio network of a magnetic field communication low-requency band.SOLUTION: Though the magnetic field communication method for low-power node management is performed in a radio network of a low-frequency band that is comprised of one MFAN-C and at least one MFAN-N, a physical layer frame is comprised of a preamble, a header, and a payload, and the preamble is comprised of a wake-up bit string and a synchronization bit string. The wake-up bit string is desirably added to only the preamble of the frame that is transmitted from the MFAN-C when the MFAN-N is activated from a power saving mode. The wake-up bit string is desirably modulated using an ASK system, and the synchronization bit string is desirably modulated using a BPSK system.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a communication system architecture which can perform integrated processing of different network protocols and multimedia traffics. The communication system for integrated processing of different network protocols and multimedia traffics comprises a common packet; a common packet switch; a plurality of channels; a common bus; a common protocol platform; an external network protocol converter; and an internal network protocol converter. Thus, the present invention can process traffics rapidly embodied by mean of hardware, and easily perform various QoS, traffic control, and so on by designing a unified common platform with an open architecture. In addition, the present invention can be used for digital consumer devices in building networks and home networks or various digital appliances classified as Internet information appliances, and for control systems such as a home gateway, a home server, an STB, a home station and so on.

The present invention provides common protocol architecture and methods for transmitting data between different network protocols and a common protocol packet. The common protocol architecture comprises an application layer; a common protocol layer positioned under the application layer, the common protocol layer enabling data communications between the different protocols; a presentation layer positioned under the common protocol layer; a session layer positioned under the presentation layer; a transport layer positioned under the session layer; a network layer positioned under the transport layer; a data link layer positioned under the network layer; and a physical layer positioned under the data link layer. The common protocol packet comprises a common protocol header with information about a packet and a payload with the contents of data. By designing the common protocol layer and the common protocol packet accepting various protocols simultaneously, the present invention can improve compatibility between different protocols.

The prevent invention relates to a wireless communication method for a magnetic field communication network and a demodulation device of a coordinator, capable of recognizing a plurality of sensor nodes for a short time. The wireless communication method for the magnetic field network of the present invention comprises: step (a) of transmitting a request signal to request a response to sensor nodes, which is performed by the coordinator in the magnetic field communication network; step (b) of selecting any one of response signals received from the sensor nodes; step (c) of transmitting an acknowledgement signal to the sensor node corresponding to the response signal selected in step (c); step (d) of selecting any one of the response signals retransmitted from the sensor nodes which do not receive the acknowledgement signal of step (c); and step (e) of transmitting the acknowledgement signal to the sensor node corresponding to the response signal selected in step (d).

The present invention relates to a demodulator for simultaneous multi-node receiving and a method therof; and, more particularly, a demodulator in a wireless communication system for receiving signals from multi nodes simultaneously and a method thereof. In accordance with the aspect of the present invention, there is provided a demodulator for simultaneous multi-node receiving which comprises: a clock generator for generating a pair of CW signals and a pair of demodulating modules, wherein the demodulating modules comprise a mixer for multiplying received signals and one of the CW signals, an integrator for integrating multiplied signal and data operating unit for calculating variation result of integrated signal at every certain symbol duration and deciding output data in accordance with the variation result.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for configuring a physical layer of a low frequency band based on wireless magnetic field communication, and a computer-readable recording medium including a program for executing the method. The method supports the proper packet format, coding mode, and modulation mode between a master and a slave in order to enable wireless communication in variable data rate or coding modes depending on a peripheral environment in a low frequency band based on wireless magnetic field communication which is applied to a difficult environment. The method of the invention is characterized by changing the data rate and the coding mode of a payload field within a preset range depending on the peripheral communication environment, wherein the payload field is included in the request and response frames between the master and the slave. The request and response frames can be configured in the same format in the above-mentioned configuration and respectively include a preamble field, a header field, and the payload field.
