Abstract: PURPOSE: A multi-view image content generating method and an apparatus thereof are provided to generate an image file of predetermined format and to insert the other images by using a chunk area. CONSTITUTION: A multi-view image contents generating unit generates an image file of a predetermined file format based on a selected image(S1). The device generates the chunk data based on remaining images(S2). The device inserts the generated chunk data into a chunk area of the generated PNG format file(S4). The device stores the multi-view image content in a storing unit(S5).
