Abstract:
An apparatus for providing I-centric services using a service delivery platform which is user-centric layered and a service providing method using the same are provided. The apparatus includes a media service platform providing an enabler obtained by abstracting resources and an I-centric enabler, a service creation environment providing a layered service creation and execution environment for each user, and a service execution environment. A personal user, a third party service provider and a service provider can create and provide various personalized services using the media service platform, the service creation environment and the service execution environment.

Provided are methods for network ID based federation and single sign on authentication. A method of federating a service providing site in a service network with an access network for web application service authentication in a next generation network (NGN), the method comprising requesting the user equipment for authentication in correspondence with the federation request and inquiring whether to perform the federation, when a federation request is received from user equipment which has been authenticated by the access network; receiving responses to the authentication request and the inquiry from the user equipment; and registering the access network with a user federation list and notifying the federation to the access network, when authentication is determined to be successful from the response.
Abstract:
Provided are a forced protection switching method and a forced protection switching clearing method in an Ethernet ring network. When an operator desires to block a port of a specific node for maintenance and repair, the operator gives a forced switching (FS) command to the specific node in order to block the port. When the operator desires to clear FS, the operator gives a clear command to the specific node in order to clear the blocked port. As a result, operation flexibility of the Ethernet ring network is provided.
Abstract:
An optical network system for providing wireless broadband services is provided. The optical network system may include an optical line terminal (OLT); and at least one optical network unit (ONU), wherein the OLT broadcasts downlink data to the ONU with the aid of a light source and the ONU transmits data to the OLT through a predetermined optical wavelength. Therefore, it is possible to easily identify what terminal has transmitted an optical signal to a center based on the wavelength of the optical signal and to reduce the consumption of optical fibers between the center and a number of access points (APs).

PURPOSE: A network ID based federation and single sign on authentication method is provided to perform SSO authentication between an NACF and a web application service using an IdP(Identity Provider). CONSTITUTION: NACF(Network Attachment Control Function) wire/wireless access federation authentication by an access network service provider(12) is received. Federation SSO authentication between an access network and a service network provider(13) is provided using the NACF authentication information if the authentication is performed. Or, federation SSO authentication between the access network and a web application service provider(14) is provided.
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a wavelength division multiplexing-passive optical network (WDM-PON) system which transmits downstream data to an optical network unit (ONU) as an optical line termination (OLT) receives seed light from a spectrum-sliced external light source module. One characteristic of the proposed WDM-PON system is that optical transmitters of the OLT and ONU are operated regardless of optical wavelength. Another characteristic of the proposed WDM-PON system is that a conventional TDMA-PON (E-PON or G-PON) ONU can be accommodated without a change.
