    Abstract: An availability prediction method for an HA(High Availability) cluster is provided to an available probability in a certain level when configuring a cluster system and to determine the optimized number of nodes and an operation method that satisfy the level. If there is a failure in one of two nodes of a cluster system, another node obtains probability(P1) until the one node is restored(S510). The reference available probability of the cluster system is determined(S520). 2 is applied to the number of head nodes(S530), and the available probability is calculated(S540). It is checked whether or not the calculated available probability is over the reference available probability(S550). If so, the number of head nodes is outputted(S560).
