The present invention proposes a transport packet generating apparatus for generating a transport packet having a variable length, wherein a header of the transport packet contains a field area indicating the length of the transport packet, or wherein the length of the transport packet is indicated using a synchronization area of the transport packet. In addition, the present invention proposes a depacketizer which interprets the field area indicating the length of the transport packet, or searches for and interprets the start point of the transport packet in accordance with a predetermined regulation on a synchronization area, so as to depacketize a transport packet having a variable length.

Provided are a broadcast transmitting apparatus and a broadcast transmitting method for providing an object-based audio using multi-channel audio encoding and decoding, and a broadcast playback apparatus and a broadcast playback method. The broadcast transmitting apparatus may generate audio identification information for identifying whether a multi-channel audio signal is an object-based audio signal. Then, if the multi-channel audio signal is identified as an object-based audio signal based on the audio identification information, the broadcast playback apparatus may control multi-channel audio signals for each channel and output the signals.

Disclosed are an audio authoring apparatus and audio playback apparatus for an object-based audio service, and an audio authoring method and audio playback method using same. The audio authoring apparatus and the audio playback apparatus provide an object-based audio service using audio object signals corresponding to the number of audio channels which can be processed by the audio playback apparatus.

PURPOSE: A VM server, a node operation method, and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce booting time when traffic is heavy if a VM is used by a user. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(620) receives list information of a neighboring node from a VM(Virtual Machine) server and blocks which are used for VM booting from the neighboring node. A booting processor(623) boots the VM using the received blocks. The receiving unit receives index information of sequential blocks for VM booting.

An availability prediction method for an HA(High Availability) cluster is provided to an available probability in a certain level when configuring a cluster system and to determine the optimized number of nodes and an operation method that satisfy the level. If there is a failure in one of two nodes of a cluster system, another node obtains probability(P1) until the one node is restored(S510). The reference available probability of the cluster system is determined(S520). 2 is applied to the number of head nodes(S530), and the available probability is calculated(S540). It is checked whether or not the calculated available probability is over the reference available probability(S550). If so, the number of head nodes is outputted(S560).

The present invention relates to a system for transmitting and receiving audio, particularly, to a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving of object-based audio contents, which packetizes audio objects having the same characteristic. To achieve the above, the present invention includes filtering a plurality of ESs according to common information, adding a packet header to the respective filtered ESs and generate ES packets, aggregating all the generated ES packets and then adding a multi-object packet header to the aggregated ES packets to generate an object packet, and multiplexing the generated object packet, packetizing the multiplexed object packet according to a transmitting media and transmitting the packetized object packet.
