Abstract: An apparatus for managing a plurality of RFID readers includes a service policy managing unit that defines demands in the form of service policies to be understood by the plurality of RFID readers, a data processing rule managing unit that generates a data processing rule on the basis of the service policies, a collected data processing unit that receives a plurality of RFID tag data from the plurality of RFID readers, and generates integrated RFID events by applying the data processing rule to the plurality of RFID tag data, and a service report processing unit that provides results corresponding to the integrated RFID events.

Abstract: An integrated interface apparatus for heterogeneous sensor networks and a method thereof are provided to enable an application system to easily access various heterogeneous sensor networks, and increase availability of the sensor network infrastructure. An integrated interface apparatus for heterogeneous sensor networks comprises the followings: an application system interface mean(22) which converts a query command of an application system into a command for the sensor network according to the common message standard, and interprets a response message to the command for the sensor network to transmit it to the application system; and a sensor network interface mean(23) which converts the command for the sensor network according to properties of the corresponding sensor network to transmit it to the corresponding sensor network, and converts measurement data, measured in each sensor network, according to the standard data form defined previously to loads the converted data on the command for the sensor network and transmit it to the application system interface mean.

Abstract: An apparatus for managing a radio frequency identification reader and a method thereof are provided to generate the high level of service information by integratedly processing RFID tag data received to each RFID reader. A service policy management unit(210) defines requested items by a service policy which has form understandable by a plurality of RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) readers. A data processing rule management unit(220) generates a data processing rule based on the service policy. By integrating a plurality of RFID tag data received from the RFID readers by a logical unit according to the data processing rule, a collection data processing unit(250) generates an integration RFID event. A service report processing unit(270) provides the result corresponding to the integration RFID event.
