Abstract: PURPOSE: An outside map manufacturing method for moving body and an apparatus thereof are provided to manufacture an outside map for moving body of improved accuracy at low costs. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus receives an actual satellite image about a corresponding outdoor space from a server(S710). The apparatus calculates pixel information about the actual satellite image(S730). The apparatus measures a reference location coordinate about the selected reference location from the actual satellite image(S740). The apparatus links a pixel number, the reference location coordinate, and the pixel information with the actual satellite image(S750).
