    Abstract: PURPOSE: A space based semantic ontology generating system and a method thereof are provided to systematically generate a relation of concepts including a space attribute by generating space semantic ontology. CONSTITUTION: A concept and space attribute input unit(102) receives concept and space attribute information for ontology configuration. A space related meaning input unit(104) receives information for space meaning between concepts. A space relation analyzing unit(106) analyzes a space relation between concepts based on space attribute using the information. A space based ontology generating unit(108) generates a semantic ontology by using the analyzed result.
