Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the Hadamard code generating circuit by which 48th Hadamard code among orthogonal codes required to generate a signal or to extract the generated signal in the CDMA communication system. SOLUTION: The 48th Hadamard code generating circuit is made up of a 2-bit counter 24 that generates 4th Hadamard codes in low-order 2-bit, a 4-bit counter 21 that is operated by a carry output of the 2-bit counter 24 and produces a high-order Paley code having 12 states, a 6-bit reference counter 25 having 48 states by external reset, a 6-bit register 26 that stores an index value, and an exclusive OR gate 30 that exclusively Ors the high-order 12 Palye code and the 4th Hadamard code in the low-order 2-bit to produce the final 48th Hadamard code.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interleave/de-interleave device that can reduce the capacity of a memory. SOLUTION: In order to process a frame of source data for interleave/de- interleave or an interleaved data frame, the memory stores the frame in the interleave/de-interleave processing unit. While interleave/de-interleave is applied to the precedingly stored frame, since a symbol corresponding to the next frame is received and the memory storing it is required, the symbol is recorded to an address from which the symbol of the preceding frame is read without the need for the memory capacity to store the symbol of the succeeding frame.

Abstract:
There is provided a human body communication method and system using a frequency-selective baseband in order to transmit and receive data between communication devices that are coupled to a human body by using the human body as a communication channel. The human body communication method and system may be useful to maximize an efficiency of the frequency-selective spreading technology to enhance a processing gain of the Walsh code technology, and thus to reduce the interference between human bodies of users by adaptively selecting a frequency band of Walsh codes that are used for data communications according to the human body channel characteristics and the noise environments that are varied according to the ambient environments, and also construct a low-power and stable human body communication when there is a strong interference induced from other electronic equipments.

There is provided a communications system and method using a part of human body as an antenna in a body area network, and more particularly, to a communications system and method enabling wireless communications using a low frequency band without the use of a bulky antenna in such a manner that a transmitting-side communications device applies electrical signals to a human body via a transmitting-side coupler to allow a part of human body to act as an antenna, and electrical signals, occurring in another part of human body due to radio frequency (RF) signals, are transferred to a receiving-side communications device via a receiving-side coupler.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for fairly allocating resources in a band adaptive modulation and coding (band AMC) mode of a wideband wireless access system. There is provided a method of fairly allocating resources in a band AMC mode of a wideband wireless access system when two or more mobile stations simultaneously transmit channel quality information (CQI) through an overlapping band. The method includes: when two or more mobile stations transmit the channel quality information (CQI) through an overlapping band, examining whether the mobile stations transmit information indicating that the overlapping band is the highest bands thereof; comparing tag values of the mobile stations transmitting the information indicating that the overlapping band is the highest band thereof and selecting one of the tag values having the highest priority, the tag values being given when the mobile stations transmit the information on the band at the beginning and the tag values stored for every frame being reset; allocating a sub channel corresponding to the highest band to the mobile station having the selected tag value; and changing the tag values of the mobile stations transmitting the information indicating that the overlapping band is the highest band thereof on the basis of the result of the comparison to reset the tag values.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for constituting a layered cell, which is for constituting a cell in an OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) mobile communication system. The method includes: (a) dividing L carriers having orthogonality into M sub-channels; (b) dividing the carriers into N groups each having the M sub-channels; (c) grouping the N groups by an arbitrary integer into K classes; and (d) constituting a plurality of layered cells corresponding to the K classes. According to the present invention, the conception of the independent classes is introduced for a plurality of carriers to facilitate the use of the carriers to a system requiring an independent wireless area, allowing design of sectors and cells at a single frequency.
