Abstract:
PURPOSE: A reinforced earth retaining wall using a front vertical support made of rectangular lumber and a construction method thereof are provided to build an environmentally friendly reinforced earth retaining wall by exposing the upper surface of soil on the rear side to plant vegetation. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a reinforced earth retaining wall using a front vertical support made of rectangular lumber comprises the following steps: arranging a plurality of lateral support posts side by side in a lateral direction; uprightly joining front vertical supports to the top of the lateral support posts; separately joining rear vertical supports on the top of the lateral support posts on the rear side of the front vertical supports; forming a front surface by sequentially layering a plurality of front panels on spaces between the rear vertical supports; forming a single banking layer by filling the top of lateral support posts and the rear side of the front surface with rear earth and sand (700); and repeating the above steps to form a plurality of banking layers.

PURPOSE: A wood retaining wall for improving supporting force using a stiffener buried in back filling soil and a construction method thereof are provided to improve cost-efficiency by reducing materials required for constructing the wood retaining wall. CONSTITUTION: A wood retaining wall for improving supporting force using a stiffener buried in back filling soil is composed as follows. Longitudinal members(300) are arranged in a longitudinal direction. Front horizontal members(100) are placed on the longitudinal members at right angles to the longitudinal members. Intersection fastening members(10) are arranged on the intersections of the front horizontal and longitudinal members. Support members(20) are arranged between the first-row longitudinal members and the second-row longitudinal members and support the rears of the longitudinal members. Stiffener binding members(50) are coupled to the support members. When the back filling soil is excavated, stiffeners(60) buried in the back filling soil are coupled to the stiffener binding members.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A prefabricated block type reinforced earth retaining wall using a steel strip as reinforcing material is provided to simply anchor the leading end of a reinforcing material to the rear side of a block and improve the fastening force. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated block type reinforced earth retaining wall comprises a block(10), a steel strip type reinforcing material(20), and a connecting member(30). The block forms the front side of a retaining wall. The steel strip type reinforcing material is buried in the reinforced soil(G) behind the block wherein the leading end is anchored in the block to support the block. The connecting member is coupled to the joint formed on the back end of the steel strip type reinforcing material and connects adjacent steel strip type reinforcing materials to apply passive resistance.
