    Abstract: PURPOSE: An external window structure of a building having a guard rail made of a laminated glass is provided to prevent the falling accident of an occupant by using a laminated glass as a guard rail. CONSTITUTION: An external window structure of a building having a guard rail made of a laminated glass is composed of an upper frame(10), an intermediate frame(11), a lower frame(12), and an outer fixed window. The upper frame, the intermediate frame, and the lower frame are arranged horizontally. The upper frame, the intermediate frame, and the lower frame are combined to the edge of the outer fixed window made of a glass. The outer fixed window is installed between the intermediate frame and the lower frame. The outer fixed window is made of the laminated glass having the contacted structure by interposing a transparent film between plate glasses.
