    Abstract: PURPOSE: An inner surface treatment method of certified reference gas mixture container using a barrel polishing process is provided to prevent scratch due to partial shock generated during polishing using trimethylated silica. CONSTITUTION: An inner surface treatment method of certified reference gas mixture container using a barrel polishing process comprises followings. The long axis of a cylinder is rotated by a rotary shaft and is ground in order to maintain the horizontality of a long axis of an aluminium cylinder after putting abrasive and grindstone into the aluminium cylinder. The abrasive contains oleic acid 1~15wt.%, trimethylation silica 1~15wt.%, surfactant 1~10wt.%, aminoalcohol 0.005~0.5wt.%, and deionized water 60~95wt.%. The ratio of the volume of the grindstone and the abrasive and the volume of the aluminium cylinder is 0.1~0.3 : 0.2~0.3, respectively.
