    Abstract: PURPOSE: A coherent anti-stokes Raman scattering endoscope applying a spectrally encoding method is provided to obtain the same effect as a high speed scanning by equally forming spectrum distribution of a pump light and a stoke light. CONSTITUTION: A stoke light optical fiber(11) transmits a stoke light with an arbitrary frequency band generated from a stoke light source. A pump light optical fiber(12) transmits the pump light to the pump light source. The stoke light optical fiber and the pump light optical fiber are separated with a constant distance. A collimation lens(20) collimates the stoke light and the pump light. One diffraction grating(30) forms the spectrum distribution of the stoke light and the pump light equally. A reflective mirror(40) includes a dichroic reflector for reflecting CARS(Coherent Anti-strokes Raman Scattering) light and a total reflector for totally reflecting the pump light. An objective lens(50) connects the pump light and the stoke light to a sample. A CARS light transmitter(60) transmits the CARS light to a spectroscope.
