Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-shield method capable of minimizing construction cost and construction time. SOLUTION: This semi-shield method comprises a process in which an underground pipe line excavator advances so as to form a pipe line between a start device and an arrival device, a process in which a pipe advances through the pipe line while inserting many intermediate jacks between pipes, a process in which many intermediate devices are formed to recover the buried intermediate jacks, and a process in which many manholes are provided in the start device, the arrival device, and the intermediate devices. The number of intermediate devices is equal to or larger than the number of intermediate jacks positioned between the start device and the arrival device. Construction cost and construction time can be reduced by providing the manholes without carrying out the ground stabilizing construction work by each intermediate device.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication tube capable of effectively using the inside space of a communication tunnel. SOLUTION: The communication tube 20 is provided inside a communication tunnel, inside which a communication cable is arranged. The communication tube 20 is split along the longitudinal direction so as to form a plurality of split bodies 22. Respective split bodies 22 are provided with a combining groove section 30 on one side in the longitudinal direction and combining protrusion 40 on the other side. The combination of a plurality of split bodies 22 forms a communication tube 20. The split body can be kept and moved in such a state as is wounded on a bobbin having a small diameter, which leads to easy movement and less space required for storage. A projected part on the outside surface of the communication tube 20 entraps into the gap between a plurality of communication tubes 20 when arranging the plurality of communication tube 20, whereby space occupied by projected part can be minimized. As a result, relatively a number of communication tubes can be provided inside the communication tunnel.
