Abstract:
A method and a device for machine patination, artificial ageing, of concrete products. The products (12) are provided irregular edges by a process in which the products are lifted up against a matrix (45) that substantially corresponds to the desired appearance, while at the same time the products are vibrated by a vibration system (52) and pressed by the matrices (45). The entire process occurs in-line on the production board (2) on which the products (12) have been poured before hardening, without any extra handling.
Abstract:
The system is peculiar in that there is provided a number of temperature sensors (14) inside a rotary dryer (2), the sensors (14) indicating a representative temperature of the materials dried/heated in the zone in which the sensor in question is located. By combining the measured temperatures with indications/measurements of flow, temperature and humidity of the materials to be dried, and temperature and humidity of the flue gas, a regulating unit/system with a simple mathematical model of the drying process may control the oil or gas burner optimally, such that the energy consumption for the drying process is minimised, and the waste of material occurring by too much or too little heating, typically by start and shutdown, is almost eliminated. The system may be used both by concurrent and countercurrent rotary dryers, respectively, and by single as well as double chambered rotary dryers, respectively, for drying and heating mineral materials, primarily for asphalt production.

Abstract:
Mould (2, 4) with level differences for a concrete block machine/ concrete casting machine of the kind typically used for making cast items in the form of concrete blocks (58) for solid blocks with cavities or recesses, paving, wall construction or elements. By the level differences blocks (58) with large level differences, typically more than 40 mm, can be made with or without cavities (60, 74), for example kerbstones with integrated drain. By the invention is indicated a mould bottom part (2) with associated back table (6) and filling cart (8) as well as core drawing arrangement (22), including means that ensure the concrete product can be made with large level differences with or without cavities.
