Abstract:
A device for driving a plurality of motors, including an inverter connected to a DC terminal; a multi-phase motor connected to the inverter; and a single-phase motor serially connected to the multi-phase motor, wherein a number of frequency of current input to the multi-phase motor when driving the single-phase motor and the multi-phase motor at the same speed is smaller than the number of frequency of current input to the multi-phase motor when driving the single-phase motor and the multi-phase motor at different speeds. Accordingly, a plurality of motors can be simultaneously driven at different speeds, by using a single inverter.

Abstract:
Washing machine control method including an outer tub and an inner tub containing clothes rotatably disposed therein. The method includes detecting an amount of dry clothes, supplying water between the outer and inner tub such that the clothes are not wetted, discharging water from the outer tub to a circulation channel and introducing water into the inner tub through the circulation channel to wet the clothes, discharging unabsorbed water collected in the outer tub to the circulation channel such that a water level in the outer tub becomes zero while detecting a flow rate of water, and determining an amount of circulation water discharged to the circulation channel based on the flow rate detected until a water level in the outer tub becomes zero and determining properties of the clothes based on the amount of circulation water and a predetermined anticipated amount of circulation water corresponding to the amount of dry clothes detected.

Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a control method for automatically detecting what kind of nozzle is a nozzle mounted on a cleaner by using different starting current profiles. The cleaner may include a suction unit for suctioning dust, and various nozzles which are detachable from the suction unit. The nozzle may include a rotation cleaning unit which is accommodated in the nozzle to clean a surface to be cleaned, and a nozzle driving unit for driving the rotation cleaning unit. The nozzle may exhibit different starting current profiles depending on the number of rotations or reduction ratio of the nozzle driving unit, or whether an auxiliary control unit is included.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a motor assembly, and more particularly, to a motor having a two-phase input power source and a power conversion device for driving a two-phase motor. The present disclosure relates to the motor assembly for driving the two-phase motor, the motor assembly configured to comprise: a motor including a first winding and a second winding having an electrically insulated parallel structure; a DC-link circuit for supplying a direct-current voltage; and an inverter connected to the DC-link circuit to convert the direct-current voltage into an alternating-current voltage to drive the motor, and including a first switching element set connected to the first winding and a second switching element set connected to the second winding.
Abstract:
A washing method according to the present invention comprises: a first rotation step for rotating an inner tub; a rotating direction detecting step for detecting the rotating direction of the inner tub; and a second rotation step for starting to rotate the inner tub in the opposite direction to the rotating direction of the inner tub when the rotation of the inner tub stops in the first rotation step. When the inner tub stops over a predetermined time and then restarts, the inner tub starts to rotate in the opposite direction to the rotating direction when the inner tub stops, thereby reducing the eccentricity of the inside of the inner tub, inhibiting collisions between the inner tub and an outer tub, reducing noise during collisions, and improving the rotation performance of the inner tub.
