Selective interaction between networked smart devices is disclosed. One embodiment of the present disclosure pertains to an apparatus for interacting with associated smart appliances via a network, where the apparatus comprises a memory; and a processor. The processor is configured to identify one or more associated smart appliances upon activation of a smart device in a network, where the smart device and the associated smart appliances are configured to communicate with each other for notification or for executing one or more commands. The processor is also configured to determine a mode of the smart device upon receiving data from the associated smart appliances, where the mode of the smart device is set through configuring a user experience environment of the smart device. The processor is further configured to selectively process the data from the associated smart appliances based on the mode of the smart device.
Abstract:
A user profile based configuration of user experience environment is disclosed. One embodiment of the present disclosure pertains to a method for generating a user experience environment for a device. The method comprises accessing a user profile associated with a device in a computing network in response to a request by the device for initializing or refreshing a user experience environment of the device. In one example embodiment, the user profile comprises data and metadata defining a communal user experience environment shared by the device and one or more other devices through the computing network. The method further comprises determining a type of the device, and generating the user experience environment of the device based on the user profile and the type of the device.

The present invention provides a computing device that supports cloud service. The computing device of present invention includes a communication module configured to communicate with an external cloud database. The computing device also includes a display screen configured to display a cloud navigation area containing a cloud icon. The computing device also includes a processor configured to control to detect a user command of displaying cloud contents, the user command being detected by recognizing the cloud icon selected. The processor further configured to control the communication module to receive cloud contents from the external cloud database and to control the cloud navigation area to be enlarged within the display screen and the received cloud contents to be displayed within the enlarged cloud navigation area.

The computing device of present embodiment includes a display screen, a processor, and a memory configured to store one or more programs, wherein the one or more programs to be executed by the processor, the one or more programs including instructions for identifying a user command of selecting a first job from a group, determining a second job based on user experienced access, wherein the second job is determined as one of user experience jobs which were accessed by a user while the first job was operating, performing an operating process of the first job with displaying the first job in a first area of the display screen, and performing an operating process of the second job with displaying the second job in a second area of the display screen.
