Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method capable of performing authentication using a smart watch, including: detecting a request for authentication for executing an application; measuring a user's heartbeat rhythm through a sensor mounted in a bottom of the smart watch when detecting the request for the authentication; and comparing the measured heartbeat rhythm with an already-stored heartbeat rhythm and thus performing the authentication on the application.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal including a wireless communication processor configured to provide wireless communication; a display including a main region and an extended region extended from the main region toward at least one side of the main region; and a controller configured to deactivate the main region and the extended region of the display, activate the main region of the display without activating the extended region in response to a knock code being input on the main region of the display, and activate the extended region of the display without activating the main region in response to the knock code being input on extended region of the display.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and an operating method thereof, and the mobile terminal according to an embodiment disclosed herein includes a terminal body, a memory(170); a display(151); a camera(121) located at one side of the terminal body and having at least a first lens and a second lens; and a controller(180) configured to: activate both the first and second lenses to capture a subject via the first lens in a first capture direction and capture the subject via the second lens in a second capture direction concurrently in response to receiving an input for operating the camera(121); cause the memory(170) to store a first image captured in the first capture direction and a second image captured in the second capture direction; and cause the display(151) to display at least one of the stored first or second image based on an actual capture direction corresponding to an orientation of the camera(121) when the input is received.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a watch-type mobile terminal that a user can wear on the user's wrist. The mobile terminal according to the present invention may comprise: a display unit configured to display information; a sensing unit configured to detect movement of the mobile terminal; a memory configured to store behavior pattern data of the user for each time slot; and a controller configured to generate the behavior pattern data on the basis of detection signals of the sensing unit, and recommend, on the basis of the behavior pattern data, a behavior that needs to be performed by the user if the time when a predetermined behavior is expected to occur is reached, or the occurrence of the predetermined behavior is not detected although the time when the predetermined behavior is expected to occur has passed.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. In the mobile terminal and the method for controlling the same, a circular time line is displayed when a specific application is executed. A motion of a user is sensed, and a tracking trajectory is displayed in the circular time line in real time. In this case, the tracking trajectory may be displayed so that it has a different display characteristic based on a type of the sensed motion of the user. Exercise information including an exercise type of a user can be displayed so that it is intuitively recognized over time. An exercise competition with a specific person or group members can be performed in real time. An exercise method suitable for a limited situation can be recommended.
Abstract:
A washing machine and a method for operating the same are disclosed. The washing machine according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a washing tub; a speech reception unit configured to receive speech information; a communication unit activated by starting words input by a user, so as to communicate with a server for providing washing-related information; a touch screen for outputting graphic objects corresponding to washing-related functions which can be performed by the washing tub; and a control unit for controlling the touch screen such that when the user's proximity is sensed, a first graphic object is output to the touch screen, and in response to the input starting words, the first graphic object is switched to a second graphic object indicating that a speech recognition function is activated. In addition, in response to reception of laundry-related speech information, the control unit analyzes the received speech information and outputs, on the basis of the analysis result, feedback sound associated with washing of the corresponding laundry.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal comprising a camera, a touch screen configured to display an image received from the camera and a controller configured change an capture magnification of the camera based on a specific type of touch applied to the touch screen, and the controller activates a specific function associated with the camera based on the touch applied to the touch screen in a state that an image acquired at a preset magnification is displayed.
