    Abstract: An LCD and a fabrication method thereof are provided to prevent light leakage caused by a lump of spacers at a specific position by forming a spacer in an active area in each cell, evenly distributing a plurality of spacers using an inkjet method and drying the spacers at a high speed. A lower substrate(110) on which a plurality of cells, including a thin film transistor and a pixel electrode(117), is arranged by a matrix form and each including faces an upper substrate(120) each other. Multiple ink droplets including spacers(134) are dropped onto the lower substrate to maintain a cell-gap between the lower substrate and the upper substrate. The ink droplets are made to overlap each other and then dried. The lower substrate and the upper substrate are bonded together.
