Abstract:
A color filter substrate for a liquid crystal display apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to form a color filter layer uniformly and provide a uniform color filter surface, thereby implementing a simple manufacturing process without forming a flat film and implementing a superior color image. A color filter substrate for a liquid crystal display apparatus comprises the following units: a black matrix(152), which is formed in a transparent insulation substrate(151), for defining a pixel area; and a color filter(153) which is formed by line drop of ink in an upper part of the black matrix and the pixel area using an ink jet method. The ink which is dropped in the upper part of the black matrix and the pixel area is dropped all over the substrate area according to the same unit pixel lines.
Abstract:
A color filter substrate for a liquid crystal display apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to protect overflow of more than predetermined portion in a color photo resist or ink by an overflow protecting unit with wall shape, thereby protecting color mixing of the color photo resist or ink. A color filter substrate for a liquid crystal display apparatus comprises the following units: a black matrix(152), which is formed in a transparent insulation substrate, for defining a pixel area; and a color filter(153), which is formed in the pixel area, for implementing RGB color. An overflow protecting unit for protecting overflows which happen when the color filter is formed is formed in a predetermined area of black matrix surface. The color filter is formed using a color photo resist in which a pigment is included.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate for a liquid crystal display device that can suppress a gravity defect and a touch defect and to provide a method for fabricating the same. SOLUTION: The color filter substrate for the liquid crystal display device includes black matrixes (210, 220), color filters (310, 320, 330) and ball spacers (401 to 404), wherein the thickness of the black matrixes in a region where the black matrixes are formed to overlap with the color filters is greater than the thickness of the black matrixes in a region where the ball spacers are disposed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display preventing movement of a spacer maintaining a cell gap between substrates by external pressure and light leakage due to positional change of the spacer by forming the spacer in a polyhedron shape having a surface treatment layer to reinforce a contact area and adhesive force to the substrates, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display includes a first substrate comprising gate lines, data lines substantially intersecting the gate lines and a first alignment layer, a second substrate stuck to the first substrate opposite to each other and comprising a color filter layer and a second alignment layer and the polyhedric spacer maintaining the cell gap between the first and the second substrates. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyimide film coating device which improves a coating condition with a polyimide liquid, and also obtain a method therefor. SOLUTION: The polyimide film-forming device is provided with a printing table, an inkjet head and a polyimide liquid-feeding tank. The inkjet head jets a polyimide liquid from a plurality of nozzles while shifting by a prescribed moving pitch in one direction in accordance with the number of times of scanning which is defined as 2N (wherein N≥2, and N is a natural number). The polyimide film coating method includes; the step of loading a board; the step of mounting a container, filled with a polyimide liquid, on the polyimide liquid-feeding tank; and the step of feeding the polyimide liquid into the inkjet head, and the inkjet head jets the polyimide liquid from the plurality of nozzles while shifting by the prescribed moving pitch in one direction in accordance with the number of times of scanning which is defined as the 2N. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate facing the upper substrate, gate lines and data lines crossing each other on the lower substrate, pixel electrodes formed in pixel areas defined at intersections of the gate lines and data lines, a dummy source/drain electrode pattern over the gate lines, and a ball spacer which is put in the dummy source/drain electrode pattern and maintains a cell gap between the upper substrate and the lower substrate.
