Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set and maintain mobile Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) connection under a mobile environment where an IP address of a mobile terminal/host is continually changed even after the setting of mobile TCP connection by using a mobile TCP connection identification to update the Internet Protocol(IP) address every time the mobile terminal/host roams in a network and the IP address of the mobile terminal/host changes. SOLUTION: A plurality of cells 12 in communication via the Internet include one base station 18 and a plurality of mobile terminal/host T/H 20. Each T/H 20 has a permanent domain name to identify itself and is provided with a domain name server(DNS) to register a domain name under a domain name of a new class. The DNS stores and updates an IP address of the T/H 20, and when the T/H 20 roams in the Internet to connect itself to a new base station 18, the T/H 20 acquires a new IP address and the DNS updates the IP address of the T/H 20 to the new IP address.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for defining the address of a mobile body, while a mobile terminal/host is linked with a network via a network base station cell. SOLUTION: This address updating concerns a method for defining the address of a mobile terminal/host(T/H) that is linked with a wired communication network. This method includes a step for assigning an address to a mobile terminal/host(T/H), and this address partially corresponds to the address of a 1st network base station with which the mobile terminal/host(T/H) roams to a cell of the base station and is linked. The address assigned to the mobile terminal/host(T/H) is revised when the mobile terminal/host(T/H) roams and links with a 2nd network base station, and the revised address partially corresponds to the address of the 2nd network base station. At least a stationary terminal host in the network is informed of a current address assigned to the mobile terminal/host(T/H) by establishing connection between the mobile terminal/host(T/H) and the stationary host. Message data are exchanged, so long as the connection is maintained between the mobile body and the stationary host.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for establishing telephone connection by which phone connection is set up to a terminal not connected to the Internet at present. SOLUTION: In the establshing method for phone connection, a terminal is positioned to receive a notice of a call in response to the call received by the Internet 1 to the terminal. When the called terminal is a radio communication terminal 11, a paging message includes an instruction of an Internet protocol(IP) telephony call. When the terminal is a wired communication terminal 13, an instruction denoting a called terminal by the Internet call is used for other warning method. The called terminal 11 or 13 automatically logs on the Internet 1 in response to this notice to receive a tentative Internet protocol address(IPA). Thus, connection between an access point of a caller terminal in the Internet 1 and an access point of the called terminal 11 or 13 is set up.
