Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service function with respect to wireless calling in a wireless electric communication system especially. SOLUTION: This invention is a method for typicaly providing the service function to the wireless calling in the wireless electric communication system and includes a step where a packet data network managing a service function with respect to wireless calling with respect to a wireless terminal is accessed and a step where a home network connected to the packet data network is accessed to manage all service functions at a center position independently of the position of the wireless terminal.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone system with a new architecture capable of processing voice Internet protocol traffic. SOLUTION: In the system, real time traffic from a mobile station (22) is processed in routing by Internet protocol core (20) of public terrestrial mobile telephone connected to either of media gateways (28, 32). The gateways (28, 32) provide services of public switching telephone network/integrated service digital network (26) and Internet protocol backbone (30), the services are provided without through GPRS gateway.
Abstract:
An architecture to support service features for wireless calls in a wireless telecommunication system is disclosed. Service feature administration for a wireless terminal is provided by a packet data feature server in a home network that is connected to a packet data network. During call setup on behalf of the wireless terminal, the feature server is accessed via the packet data network to manage service features that are specific to the wireless terminal.
