    Abstract: In a grommet for a vehicle floor cover, receptacles formed in a generally cylindrical inner surface of a female tubular body making up part of one grommet portion receive protrusions formed on a generally cylindrical outer surface of a male tubular body making up part of a second grommet portion. The bottom grommet portion may have chamfered gussets formed adjacent a bottom retention flange in order to accommodate vehicle floor mats or trays of different thicknesses. Stud holes created in respective ones of the grommets receive studs of intentionally different shape or orientation, thereby militating against installation of the floor cover upside down.

    Abstract: A vehicle license plate frame and bumper assembly has a substrate formed of a high-durometer first polymer compound, and an overmold component formed of a lower-durometer, second polymer compound that is chemically compatible with the first polymer compound. The substrate includes an endless frame with forward, inner and outer faces, and license plate screw mounting tabs inwardly extending from the frame. The overmold component includes a bumper cohesively bonded to the frame but not to screw head-receiving areas of the tabs.

    Abstract: Board channels of a cargo organizer are defined by towers disposed at the rear margins of the organizer base and upstanding walls spaced forwardly from the towers. The upstanding walls are located rearwardly of a base plate adapted to be placed underneath an item of cargo to be contained. The board channels are formed at an angle to each other, such that each of several organizers may be disposed at respective vertices of a cargo restraining polygon. The organizer walls are joined to the base by inserting barbs disposed on the lower surface of the walls into respective barb receivers. Side margins of the barb receivers mate with side margins of recesses in the lower margin of the wall. Relieved areas formed in the front surface of the organizer wall mate with upstanding plates of the base.

    Abstract: A hanger for suspending multiple articles, such as automotive floor mats, is injection-molded in one piece from a suitable polymer. The hanger has at least four stationary article gripping members and four mobile article gripping members which are fastenable to respective ones of the stationary gripping members. Article-supporting fingers of the stationary gripping members extend horizontally away from the hanger body, two in one direction and two in another. The stationary gripping members are arranged in pairs, with one member in a pair extending in one direction, and the other member of the pair extending in an opposite direction. In one embodiment, a shared structural plate makes up a portion of the "C" channel for each gripping member in the pair.
