Abstract: PURPOSE: To constantly generate the optimum brake pressure by slowly increasing brake pressure after quickly conducting pressure increase for computed amount based on total pressure increase in the last period and a control pressure reducing period after that in a brake increasing stage. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve 4 is provided between pipes 1, 3 to supply brake fluid pressure of a master cylinder 2 to a brake member, and this is controlled by a gas-liquid actuator 5. The actuator 5 includes a barometer capsule 6, and this capsule 6 is made to communicate with an intake manifold 9 of an internal combustion engine through a second solenoid valve 7. The valves 4, 7 are controlled to slowly increase brake pressure after quickly increasing brake pressure at amount computed based on total amount of pressure increase in a preceding cycle in the last period and the second period from the last in a pressure-reduced stage.
