    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce transmission of solid vibration by providing a suction pipe extending through an enclosing armor, an insert pipe inserted into a muffler and a tight coil spring fitted between both pipes to prevent suction refrigerant gas returning to the enclosing armor from contacting a high temperature motor compression element. CONSTITUTION:A suction gas introducing path 12 is constituted from a suction pipe 13, tight coil spring 14, insert pipe 15 and suction muffler 16 connected to each other, and insulated from heat generated by a motor element 2 and a compression element 3 in an enclosing armor 1. Thus, suction gas is sucked directly into the suction muffler 16 without being exposed to high temperature atmosphere. Also, since the suction muffler 16 is connected to the suction pipe 13 through the insert pipe 15 by the tight coil spring 14, they can follow up the relative movement of elements in a compressor in the directions of normal and vertical lines to reduce the transmission of vibration from the internal elements. Also, an inlet port 16a and the insert pipe 15 produce a bearing force P due to torsional moment M to reduce vibratory sound between the inlet port and the insert pipe.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a muffler from play due to a gap between the muffler and a cylinder head by forcing a communicating pipe through a hole in the muffler into an intake port of the cylinder head to attach an elastic body to the outer periphery of the communicating pipe between said pipe and the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:In the beginning of running a compression element 3, a cylinder head 7 is given high temperature by discharge gas to expand a communicating pipe 16 together with a main body 14. A force, however, is produced in the direction of pulling out the communicating pipe 16 by the expansion of the main body 14 due to the difference of coefficient of linear expansion. When said pipe 16 is forced into the main body to minimize an elastic body 19, it is pulled out against the press-in force by an amount corresponding to the expansion of said body 19. Also, when the communicating pipe 16 is pressed in so as to leave slight elasticity of said body 19, the expansion of said body 14 contracts the elastic body 19 so that the communicating pipe 16 is not pulled out. The temperature of the head 7 is varied with the intermittent running while the expansion of the main body 14 is absorbed by the elastic body 19 without producing any play of the main body 14.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To assemble a silencer made of plastics for sure by providing coupling holes on either one of a body and cover body made of synthetic resin and coupling lugs on the other one and by inserting an inner partition board between the main body and cover body against its elastic force. CONSTITUTION:When a silencer 12 is to be fitted to a cylinder head 7, the main body 14 is placed at a preset position on the cylinder head 7 and is supported by inserting a connecting pipe 16 by force into a suction hole 7a and fixing it. Next, an inner partition board 15 is mounted on a flange step section 14b, and a cover body 13 is deppressed into a flange 14a against the elastic force of the inner partition board 15, then coupling lugs 17 are coupled with coupling holes 18 to complete the assembly, thus the coupling lugs 17 are firmly coupled with the coupling holes 18 by means of the repulsion of the inner partition board 15.
