Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the depth dimension of an article storing device. CONSTITUTION:An article storing device is composed of a pallet 19 for mounting an article to be received, a pallet receiving shelf 20 where plural steps to support the pallet are vertically provided and the taken out pallet 19 is received on the first step, an ascending and descending body 26 being shorter than the depth of the pallet 19, and pallet supporting-carrying members 28 whose right and left units are respectively and independently guided.
