Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject heat insulting material excellent in heat insulating performances, capable of rapidly adsorbing and removing a carbon dioxide gas in cells in a short time, comprising a foamed polyurethane resin composition having closed cells. SOLUTION: This foamed polyurethane resin composition comprises a foamed polyurethane resin composition having closed cells, has a built-in carbon dioxide gas adsorbent obtained by covering at least one of an alkali metal carbonate and an alkaline earth metal carbonate and a water-retaining solid composed of at least one of an inorganic salt and a metal salt whose hydrate has efflorescence with a resin film and contains a volatile blowing agent in the closed cells. A polyol, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, water, the volatile blowing agent and a polyisocyanate are mixed with the carbon dioxide gas adsorbent obtained by coating a carbon dioxide gas adsorbing solid composed of at least one of an alkali metal hydroxide and an alkaline earth metal hydroxide and the water-retaining solid with the resin film, expanded and passed through a step, in which the polyurethane resin composition containing a carbon dioxide gas generated by the reaction between water and a polyisocyanate and the volatile blowing agent in the closed cell is formed, to give the objective heat insulating material.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat insulating material and a heat insulating box body having an excellent heat insulating performance by removing carbon dioxide gas at the inside of cells in a cellular heat insulating material with an adsorption by an alkali metal hydroxide or an alkaline earth metal hydroxide, and further removing water generated by a side reaction of the adsorption reaction of carbon dioxide gas with a water adsorbing material coated with a resin membrane so as to fill the inside of cells by a vaporizable foaming agent having a low gas heat conductivity. SOLUTION: This cellular heat insulating material is constituted by a cellular polyurethane resin composition dispersed with either of an alkali metal carbonate or an alkaline earth metal carbonate 7 produced respectively by the reaction of an alkali metal hydroxide or an alkaline earth metal hydroxide with carbon dioxide and a water absorbing agent 10 consisting of a water adsorbing material 8 containing water and coated with a resin membrane 9, and having independent cells 5 filled with a vaporizable foaming agent.

SOLUTION: A carbon dioxide gas absorption agent 7 which has formed a plurality of film layers whose critical surface energy is different from each other during drying and hardening time on an alkali metal hydroxide or an alkali earth metal hydroxide where at least one layer 3 is hydrophobic preferably as an outermost film layer 2 excluding hydrophilic and outermost layer, is included in an expandable insulating material 4, thereby filling up the foams with a volatile foaming agent having a low gas conductivity and providing and a heat insulating material and an heat insulated box having excellent heat insulation performance.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed heat insulator having excellent heat insulating property without affecting bad effects caused from a moisture gas generated by an adsorption reaction of a carbonic acid gas to the insulating property by adjusting a suspension in a specific constitution, foaming the suspension by mixing with a foaming agent, etc., and removing the carbonic acid gas and removing the moisture. SOLUTION: A suspension is adjusted by dispersing an alkaline (earth) metal hydroxide and a water absorptive material of an organic or an inorganic compound into a surfactant having a hydrophilic group and a lipophilic group. The suspension is foamed by mixing with polyol, a foam adjusting agent, a catalyst, a reactive foaming agent, a volatile foaming agent and polyisocyanate, and a foamed polyurethane resin composition containing a carbonic acid gas generated by a reaction of water with polyisocyanate and a volatile foaming agent inside individually isolated air foam is formed. A carbonate is formed by adsorption of the carbonic acid gas to the hydroxide and the carbonic acid gas is removed by filling inside the isolated air foam with the volatile foaming agent. A moisture removing is performed by absorbing the moisture generated at adsorbing the carbonic acid gas into the water absorptive material.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gaseous CO2 adsorbent not deteriorating its gaseous CO2 adsorbing effect with the lapse of time by coating the surface of powder of at least one of an alkali metal hydroxide and an alkaline earth metal hydroxide with a coating film contg. water absorbing powder dispersed in a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: The surface of an alkali metal hydroxide 2 is coated with a thermoplastic resin coating film 4 contg. dispersed water absorbing powder 3 to obtain the objective gaseous CO2 adsorbent. The hydroxide 2 reacts with gaseous CO2 in an atmosphere, adsorbs and removes the CO2 . It is, e.g. NaOH but hydroxide of other alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal has the same effect. The adsorbent maintains its effect even after the lapse of a certain period of time after production because moisture in the air passing through the coating film 4 is captured by the water absorbing powder 3 and the hydroxide 2 is not leached.

The resin composition contains a urethane bond, a urea bond, at least one carbonate of an alkaline (earth) carbonate obtained by reacting an alkaline (earth) metal hydroxide with a carbon dioxide and a compound obtained by reacting an epoxy compound with water. A polyol, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, a reactive blowing agent, a volatile blowing agent and a polyisocyanate are mixed with the alkaline (earth) metal hydroxide and the epoxy compound, expanded and passed through a step, in which the polyurethane resin composition containing a carbon dioxide gas generated by the reaction between the reactive blowing agent and a polyisocyanate and the volatile blowing agent in the closed cells is formed, to give the objective heat insulating material.
