Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical cooling/storing compartment in which moisture and dust are prevented from dropping from a top grill and intruding through an opening and a power supply board can be protected against water splash. SOLUTION: An water cut rib 38e is suspended to the power supply board 36 side in a duct 28 from the end face at the opening 38d of a longitudinal wall 38c connecting the upper and lower step faces 38a, 38b of a top grill 38. An water splash preventive wall 39a formed integrally with a board holder 39 extending in the direction of a back face plate 27 above the power supply board 36 is bent upward at the end face part thereof and lapped over the water cut rib 38e in the horizontal direction thus preventing water or dust from intruding through the opening 38d.

SOLUTION: When the temperature S or L on a heat radiation surface side or a cooling surface side to be detected by a temperature sensor is the prescribed temperature S2 or over, or the prescribed temperature L1 or under, the drive of a thermoelectric member is stopped by a control device, and when the difference between the temperature S or L on the heat radiation surface side or the cooling surface side and the outside air temperature is not less than the prescribed value, the drive of the thermoelectric member is stopped, and as necessary, an alarming means is operated at the temperature below the prescribed temperature, and at least one of the prescribed temperature is changed by the outside air temperature.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve reliability by forming an oil reservoir on an outlet of the small end side of an oil hole which communicates a large end of a connecting rod and its small end, and thereby preventing occurrence of scar and abrasion without causing oil shortage and oil film shortage. CONSTITUTION:When a refrigerant compressor is operated, ester-derived lubricating oil (hereinafter simply referred to oil) is flowed into an oil reservoir 55 through an oil hole 54, for filling the oil reservoir 55. The oil filling the oil reservoir 55 is supplied to a piston pin 56 and a clearance of a small end 53 of a connecting rod 51. The oil is always supplied to a portion where the oil has been conventionally hard to reach, for instance, a B side of the small end 53 of the connecting rod 51 having high surface pressure. It is thus possible to prevent occurrence of oil shortage and oil film shortage at the portion having high surface pressure, and prevent occurrence of scar and abrasion.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a wearing amount of a shaft from being accelerated due to a short of oil film and decrease of oil viscosity without liquefying a refrigerant in a surface of a suction pipe by constituting the suction pipe not exposed in a closed vessel. CONSTITUTION:A suction pipe 25 is inserted through a closed vessel 24 and press-fitted to a through hole 7b connected to a compression chamber 8 of a cylinder 5 provided in a subside housing 7. By a constition thus provided, at the time of starting, the suction pipe 25 is not brought into contact with a refrigerant in the closed vessel 24 but cooled by a liquefied refrigerant sucked from an evaporator. Accordingly, the refrigerant is not liquefied in a surface of the suction pipe 25. Thus without liquefying the refrigerant in the surface of the suction pipe 25, a wearing amount of a shaft can be prevented from being accelerated due to a short of oil film and decrease of oil viscosity.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent frosting of a front upper part of a dual-tank type icing tray by providing a discharge part having a discharge port provided on the back of the tray and provided on the back of the tray in a duct, and vent ports formed at the tray and a partition plate of the tray. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator has an ice storage box 6, an icing tray 7, a dual-tank type icing tray 10, and a partition plate 15 for partitioning a freezing corner 11. When icing is started, part of chilled gas fed in a large quantity from a discharge part 5c of a duct 5 to the tray 7 with moisture above the tray 10 is introduced from vent ports 15a formed at the tray 10 and the plate 15, and conveyed to a suction port 13. Thus, the moisture on the tray 10 is reduced. Therefore, frosting of the front upper part of the tray can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To enhance convenience of use by regulating the required volume of chill to be delivered into upper and lower sections in a low temperature room through respective damper thermo and recovering used chill through chill return paths constituted individually thereby attaining freedom in the selection of contained foods. CONSTITUTION: Chill from a cooler 6 is subjected to volume control through a damper thermo 34 before being delivered into a first low temperature room 27 from a first chill outlet 41 through a first chill delivery path 40. It is then subjected to volume control through a damper thermo 35 and delivered into a second low temperature room 28 from a second chill outlet 43 through a second chill delivery path 42. Used chill from the rooms 27, 28 is returned from chill suction ports 47, 51 opening toward respective low temperature rooms back to a cooling room 8 through chill return paths 44, 48. The first and second low temperature rooms 28 can thereby be subjected to individual temperature control to a level matching the properties of the contained fresh food (e.g. partial freezing at about -3 deg.C or chilled at about 0 deg.C) within a temperature range suitable for keeping fresh the food.
