    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage type air conditioner which makes it possible to ensure a proper amount of heat storage corresponding to a cooling-heating operation time in the daytime and can prevent wasteful consumption of electric power. SOLUTION: A stored cold heat using operation time in the daytime is counted by a stored cold heat using operation time counting means 12 provided in a centralized control system. In the case of starting a cold heat storage operation, the cold heat storage operation time is determined by a cold heat storage operation time determining means 13, with the cold heat storage operation time corrected therein so that it be shorter than a preset reference time when the stored cold heat using operation time is shorter than a preset operation time and that it be longer than the preset reference time when the stored cold heat using operation time is longer than the set operation time. According to this constitution, all of refrigerating cycle units in a plurality can ensure the amount of heat storage corresponding to the cooling-heating operation time in the daytime and wasteful power consumption can be prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transmission of necessary information even in a time when transmission judgement of centralized monitoring equipment is made consecutively, by providing a transmission waiting means which prevents transmission information from being transmitted on a communication line, for a prescribed time counted by a time counting means. SOLUTION: When transmission judgement is made by a transmission determining means 3, a control discriminating means 4 judges whether a control to be made is a discrete control or a group control and determines target classification data. Next, a counter of a timer in a time counting means 7 for counting a transmission waiting time is started and it is determined by a transmission waiting means 8 whether or not a prescribed transmission waiting time elapses. When it does not yet elapse, transmission is prohibited, and when it elapses, the transmission of the target classification data by the group control is permitted. Even when the judgement of transmission by the group control is made consecutively, according to this constitution, it is possible to reduce the amount of information being transmitted on a communication line to a prescribed one or less and to prevent occurrence of a state wherein no other necessary information can be transmitted at all.

SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a cooling heating operation hour setting means 12 situated at a centralized control device and setting a cooling heating operation hour, a cold/heat storage operation hour deciding means 13 to calculate a cooling heating accumulated time and a given cold/heat storage operation accumulated time from a set cooling heating operation time and decide a cold/heat storage operation hour, an operation instruction means 14 to compare a decided cold/heat storage operation hour with a present hour counted by an hour counting means 15 and decide cold/heat storage operation instruction to each refrigerating cycle unit, and a deciding means 22 to detect operation instruction, decided by the operation instruction means, by a bus communicating circuit 1 and decide an operation mode. This constitution insures a proper storage heat amount matching with a cooling heating operation hour in the daytime by all of a plurality of refrigerating cycle units and prevents consumption of a useless power.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the condition in which all indoor electric expansion valves are fully closed, thereby stable operation control being ensured, by checking that at least one electric expansion valve is not fully closed before the electric expansion valve of each indoor unit is fully closed. CONSTITUTION:Assume that all indoor units 2a, 2b are in cooling operation. When the operation of one indoor unit 2b stops, a fully closing control means 16b judges from the communication data of indoor transmission means 15a, 15b whether all electric expansion valves of another indoor unit 2a are fully closed or not. When even one electric expansion valve 9a is not fully closed in another indoor unit 2a as a result of this judgment, the fully closing control means 16b tells to a valve opening control means 13b that the electric expansion valve 9b is to be closed. The valve opening control means 13b fully closes the electric expansion valve 9b. Next, the indoor unit 2a in operation is stopped by a line 21. Since all electric expansion valves 9b of another indoor unit 2b are fully closed, an electric expansion valve 9a is not fully closed, and a compressor 3 is stopped.

SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises an operating means 12 which is provided in a centralized control device 11 for setting the kind of commercial power frequency, a connectable capacity determining means 43 which detects the commercial power frequency discriminated by the operating means, through a bus communication circuit 1, and determines the capacity of an indoor unit connectable to each outdoor unit, according to the commercial power frequency, a capacity detecting means 42 which detects the capacity of the indoor unit connected to each outdoor unit by the communication of the bus communication circuit 1 and an abnormality determining means 44 which compares this detected capacity with the aforesaid connectable capacity and determines the presence or absence of the abnormality in a connected capacity. By this constitution, the presence or absence of the abnormality in the connected capacity can be detected accurately regarding all of refrigerating cycle units in a plurality, even when they are installed at places different in the commercial power frequency.
