    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid compression from occurring by suction of liquid refrigerant by discharging stagnating refrigerant from a discharge port provided about the bottom of a compressor by using a refrigerating machine oil, and evaporating the liquid refrigerant in a evaporation pipe to flaw it out into a suction pipe. SOLUTION: During interruption of a compressor 10 refrigerating machine oil 7 and a liquid refrigerant, both being mutually not soluble, are separated into two layers where the refrigerating machine oil 7 stagnates in a shell 11 as an upper layer with the liquid refrigerant as a lower layer owing to their specific gravities. In this state, when the operation of the compressor 10 is started and simultaneously a two-way valve 14 is opened, the liquid refrigerant is sucked through a discharge hole 12 communicated with a suction pipe 10a, and is sucked into the compressor 10 through a discharge pipe 13, the two way valve 14, a flow rate limit valve 15, an evaporation pipe 16, and the suction pipe 10a. At this time, the liquid refrigerant is limited in its flow rate by the flow rate limit pipe 15 after passage through the two way valve 14 and is reduced in its pressure, and is further evaporated in the evaporation pipe 16 whereby when it reaches the suction pipe 10a, it becomes refrigerant vapor so that liquid is prevented from being compressed in the compressor 10.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent only a liquid refrigerant from returning to a compressor and ensure reliability of the compressor in an accumulator of a cooling apparatus using non-dissolution oil having a lower dissolution with a refrigerant. SOLUTION: When a load of an evaporator is very sharply changed, a refrigerant 2 having higher moisture flows into a body 1 from the evaporator through an inflow piping 3, and the high moisture refrigerant 2 becomes the liquid refrigerant 2 in the body 1 and stays in the same. Herein, a first hole 8 formed in a return piping 4 is formed in the vicinity at a height of a liquid level when a maximum amount of the liquid refrigerant 2 stays, whereby only the liquid refrigerant 2 is prevented from being sucked in from the first hole 8, and further liquid in the compressor is prevented from being compressed, and further normal lubrication is ensured without permitting the liquid refrigerant 2 to wash out non-dissolution oil 9 film on a slide section of the compressor.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forcedly return non-soluble lubricating oil staying in a condenser from a condenser outlet pipe to a low pressure piping located before a compressor when the compressor is operated above set time by measuring the time the compressor is driven, and judging whether or not the measured time exceeds the value by set means to control a solenoid valve such that it is opened for a predetermined time. SOLUTION: Driving time of a compressor 1 is set by set means 9, and then the driving time of the compressor 1 is read out, and at the time point the time exceeds the set driving time a solenoid valve control, part 13 opens a solenoid valve 8 for a predetermined time whereby non-soluble lubricating oil is returned to a low pressure piping located before the compressor 1 through a forced oil return piping 7. A timer 14 measures the time since the solenoid valve 8 is started to be opened. Open time judgment means 15 judges whether or not the open time exceeds a set predetermined time, and if it is judged that the time exceeds the set time, the solenoid valve 8 is closed. Hereby, the non- soluble lubricating oil is securely returned to the low pressure piping on this side of the compressor to improve reliability of the cooling apparatus.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use hydrocarbon whose influence on global warming is small as a refrigerant and also to prevent burning due to leakage in a merchandise housing chamber in a refrigerant circuit for an automatic vending machine. SOLUTION: Hydrocarbon and incombustible hydrofluorocarbon having an evaporating temperature lower than that of the hydrocarbon are mixed as a refrigerant and the quantity of the hydrofluorocarbon is set to be less than the lower limit of the flammable range of the refrigerant to the air quantity in a merchandise housing chamber 1B having the smallest volume. Thus, the influence upon global warming becomes very small even when the refrigerant is emitted into air due to the damage of a refrigerant circuit, and also, the concentration of hydrocarbon gas never rises until the inside of a housing chamber enters the flammable range because the hydrofluorocarbon does not reach the lower limit of burning with air even when the entire hydrocarbon gas in the refrigerant circuit leaks into and fills the chamber 1B.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the reliability on a compressor, by securing the quantity of oil of a freezer within a compressor at all times, and besides, preventing a liquid refrigerant from returning at a heat to the compressor, concerning the accumulator of a cooler using a freezer oil low in mutual solubility with a refrigerant. SOLUTION: Though a refrigerant 7 and undissolvable oil 14 flow in the body 6 from an inflow pipe 8, only the nonsoluble oil 14 stays within the body 6 in case that the quantity of refrigerant 7 within the body 6 is small. Even in this case, the required quantity of freezer oil within a compressor is secured and the normal lubrication of a slide part can be performed, by putting the level to that of the opening of a return pipe 9 so that the undissolvable oil 14 within the compressor may exist more than a required quantity of oil and that it may not be over the quantity being set according to the compressor so as to secure the residual nonsoluble oil 14.

SOLUTION: Liquid refrigerant is mostly outside a partition wall 16 by providing the cylindrical partition wall 16 having the height higher than the tip of an oil supplying pipe 9 on the tip of the oil supplying pipe and on the bottom surface inside a sealed casing 13 even if it is separated into two layers, insoluble lubricating oil 15 on the upper layer enters the partition wall 16 and sucked from the oil supplying pump 9, and therefore, liquid refrigerant on the lower layer is not sucked.

SOLUTION: This controller suppress the heat exchange amount of a cooler by operating inside fans 13A, 13B and 13C for circulating coolant at a reduced speed lower than the rated speed until respective merchandise storage chambers 11A, 11B and 11C are cooled to a prescribed temperature when the supply of coolant is started to respective coolers 12A, 12B and 12C in the merchandise storage chambers 11A, 11B and 11C. Thus, the overheating of the coolant is reduced and the temperature rise of the compressor 14 is prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the abrasion resistance of a compressor sliding part, and the reliability of a cooling device by preventing a coolant liquid from being sucked by the compressor in the coolant circuit of an automatic vending machine equipped with plural merchandise housing chambers in which cool temperature and hot temperature modes can be stitched. SOLUTION: At the time of selling the hot merchandise of merchandise housing chambers 21B and 21C in a heating mode under a low outside air temperature, the number of sales is counted by a merchandise sales number counting means 28, and when the number of sales is less than a prescribed number, the opening degree of each electric expansion valve 23B and 23C is made large so that much coolant can flow to coolers 22B and 22C of the merchandise housing chambers 21B and 21C, and when the number of sales is not less than the prescribed number, the opening degree is made small so that the coolant liquid can be heated and evaporated by using high temperature air in the merchandise housing chambers 21B and 21C. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the coolant liquid from being returned to a compressor 4. Thus, the abrasion resistance of the compressor 4 sliding part can be improved, and the reliability of a cooling device can be ensured.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent refrigerant from being condensed through a precooler by arranging a bypass piping through a three-way valve between the inlet side and the outlet side of the precooler and controlling the precooler three-way valve depending on the outer air temperature thereby varying a refrigerant flow through the precooler. SOLUTION: A bypass piping 8 is arranged between the inlet side and the outlet side of a precooler 2 and a three-way valve 9 is disposed at the joint of the inlet of the bypass piping 8 and the precooler 2. Since refrigerant 6 is susceptible to condensation in the precooler 2 at the time of low outer air temperature, it is returned through the bypass piping 8 back to a compressor 1 thus protecting the refrigerant 6 against condensation. Since the refrigerant 6 is not condensed in the precooler 2 at the time of high outer air temperature, it is not passed through the bypass piping 8 but passed only through the precooler 2 and cooled. Since the refrigerant 6 is not condensed in the precooler 2, viscosity of lubricant in the compressor 15 prevented from lowering due to dissolution into liquid refrigerant resulting in smooth lubrication at the sliding part of the compressor.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suck the unsolvable lubricating oil used without sucking the refrigerant separated as the two-phase separation from the oil supply line, so that the lubrication and the cooling of the sliding surface can promote the reliability in a hermetic compressor wherein the refrigerant with HFC as the main component is used. SOLUTION: In a hermetic compressor, an extraction outlet 16 is provided at the same level with the bottom of a hermetic casing 13, and an extraction pipe 17 is connected to the upper section of the casing 13 and to the bottom of the casing and to the extraction outlet 16 adapted to be same level with the bottom of the casing 13, and a float 18 provided in the extracting pipe 17 and is adapted to move up and down in relation to the level of refrigerant whose main component is HFC, the hermetic compressor can extract the refrigerant as the two-phase separation from the bottom of the casing 13, so the unsolvable lubricating oil 15 can be sucked from a oil supply tube 9.
