    Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain the shape of an air-direction variable vane even in the long-sized vane by composing the vane of internal and external guide plates and rotatably supporting support sections mounted at both ends of the vane and an intermediate support section set up to an intermediate section to the air conditioner body side. CONSTITUTION:Bearings 12 are formed to both side faces 11 of the supply opening 7 of an air conditioner body while a supporter 15 with an intermediate bearing 16 is protruded near the center of the supply opening 7. An air-direction variable vane having an approximately elliptic cross section rotatably supported by these bearings 12, 16 is constituted by combining an external-surface guide plate 19 and an internal- surface guide plate 20, and shafts 13, 13' on side plates 14, 14' incorporated to both ends of the variable vane are born to th bearings 12. An intermediate plate 18 is assembled on the internal-surface guide plate 20 side in the intermediate section of the air-direction variable vane, and an intermediate shaft 17 mounted to the intermediate plate 18 is born to the bearing 16 of the supporter 15. Accordingly, an air-direction variable device having a high air-direction deflection effect is acquired while the intermediate section of the air-direction variable vane is also born, thus preventing the generation of the flexure and deflection of the air-direction variable vane.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an air-conditioning machine capable of synchronizing with heating operation and controlling a humidifier operated in synchronism with the ventilating operation of an air-conditioning chamber by a method wherein a humidifying operation control switch, synchronized with a switch for controlling the ventilating operation and effecting the humidifying operation when a heating operation control switch is closed, is provided. CONSTITUTION:Upon heating operation, a switch 4 is operated and a solenoid valve 1 is conducted. At the same time, another switch 5, operated by a ventilating operation signal to make a closed circuit, is operated, a motor 3 for a fan is conducted and the ventilating operation is effected to heat an air-conditioning chamber. A humidifier 2, connected in parallel tot he solenoid valve 1, is operated in synchronizing with the switch 5 and another switch 6, making a closed circuit, is connected in series, therefore, humidifying operation is effected only upon an operation in which the switch 4 and the switch 6 are closed simultaneously. When the ventilating operation is intercepted by the operation of a thermostat during heating operation or the stop of the fan motor 3 effected by the returning operation or the stop of the fan motor 3 effected by the returning operation of the switch 5 effected by a cool air feeling preventing means during the defrosting operation of a refrigerant circuit, the switch 6, operating in synchronizing with the switch 5, is returned whereby the humidifier 2 is put OFF and the humidifying operation is intercepted.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate findings of abnormarity and trouble by providing an inspection hole in an outer shell of an air conditioner at a predetermined position of the same, closing the inspection hole with an opening/closing plate with one piece being supported, and opening the opening/closing plate upon inpection work to observing the inside of the air conditioner with naked eye from the inspection hole. SOLUTION: In a ceiling buried air conditioner accommodating an air fan apparatus, a heat exchanger, a fan air passage, and a due reception pan, etc., an inspection hole 15 is formed in an outer shell of the air conditioner located in the vicinity of a condensed water drainage apparatus. An opening/closing plate 16 with a size to cover the inspection hole 15 is disposed on the outside of the air conditioner of the inspection hole 15, an upper side 17 of which plate 16 is rotatably supported through a hinge 18. Further, an opening/closing plate mirror 20 is fixed to the opening/closing plate 16 with a bonding agent and a screw at need, and there is provided integrally with the opening/closing plate 16 an endoscope 2 rotatable, keeping a predetermined angle with respect to the opening/closing plate mirror, interlocked with rotation of the opening/closing plate 16. Hereby, the opening/closing plate 16 is opened upon inspection and repairment to observe with naked eye the inside of the air conditioner from the inspection hole 15.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To successively control the defrosting operation of a plurality of refrigerant circuits and to completely perform the defrosting operation thereby to prevent the ability of the air conditioner at the space heating operation time from lowering, by connecting a normally open contact of an (a)-th electromagnetic switch tunning with an (a)-th refrigerant circuit in series to a timer motor controlling the other refrigerant circuit and connecting a steady-close contact with an electromagnetic switch tunning with other refrigerant circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a timer motor 4a for a first refrigerant circuit reaches a predetermined time, and simultaneously the contact 2a of a defrosting thermostat assumes a predetermined condition, the contact 2a of the defrosting thermostat is switched from a normally closed contact 3a to a normally open contact 6a. The defrosting changeover electromagnetic valve 1a is turned OFF and the first refrigerant circuit assumes a defrosting operation. At this time, an electromagnetic switch 5a connected to the contact 6a is turned ON, and a normally open contact 9 of the electromagnetic switch 5a connected in parallel to a contact 2b of a second thermostat assumes a closed circuit. At the same time, a steady close contact 7a of the electromagnetic switch 5 connected in series to a second timer motor 4b becomes an open circuit, and power supply to the timer motor 4b is interrupted. Thus, a time count integrated with a predetermined period is interrupted as it is held.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an easy and positive air blowing just below a ceiling hanging type air conditioner to be carried out by a method wherein a shielding plate cooperated with a rotation of an air directing plate rotatably disposed in a forward air blowing passage and rotatably disposed in a lower air blowing passage through a connecting rod is rotated. CONSTITUTION:A main body of an air conditioner is comprised of an upper plate 11 and a lower plate 12 and the like. A lower air blowing port 19 having a lower air blowing grill 18 is formed in front of the lower plate 12. In addition, a front air blowing port 21 having a front air blowing grill 20 is formed at a front surface of the main body. In this case, an air directing plate 26 is disposed at a branch part between a front air blowing port 21 and a lower air blowing port 19 at a lower surface of an air blowing passage 25 formed within the main body in such a way as the air directing plate 26 can be rotated in a vertical direction. One end of the connecting rod 27 is rotatably connected to a lower surface of the air directing plate 26. In addition, the other end of the connecting rod 27 is rotatably connected to a shielding plate 28 for opening or closing the lower air blowing port 19. Then, the shielding plate 28 is cooperated with a rotation of the air directing plate 26 and rotated and the lower air blowing port 19 is released to perform a lower air blowing operation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To apply all humidifying water for a humidifying operation and at the same time to eliminate a dew acceptor at an atomization blowing port and to make a small-sized air conditioner by a method wherein a box is arranged in the midway of a duct for transporting water particles to collect condensed water and then the condensed water is fed back to an atomization generating device. CONSTITUTION:Condensed water condensed within a duct 9 is guided to a condensation box 12 due to an inclined condition of the duct 9. The condensed water 11 in a duct 9a is sent to the condensation box 12 together with water particles 8. At this time, the water particles 8 are carried by the air and enter the duct 9, blown from an atomization blowing port 10, atomized and then humidify the air. In turn, the condensed water 11a drops into the condensation box 12. The condensation box 12 is sealed in such a way as the interior air and the condensed water 11 and 11a are not wet, the condensed water 11 and 11a are moved from the lowermost water drain port 13 through a piping 14 under its gravity and then returned to an atomization generating device 7.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate attaching and detaching of the filter and permit to effect attaching and detaching works without using any tool by a method wherein the air filter, equipped with a wire, is engaged with the flange of a suction port by deflecting the wire. CONSTITUTION:When the air filter, incorporated with the wire 17, is inserted into the suction port 8, the wire 17 is deflected until the length thereof becomes smaller than the suction port 8 by utilizing the resilient force of the wire 17. Then, the flange 15 of the filter 14 is inserted into the suction port 8 until a position whereat the flange 15 of the filter 14 contacts with the flange 13 of the suction port 8 and, thereafter, the deflection of the wire 17 is returned. In this case, the flange 13 is received in an interval P between the flange 15 and the wire 17 and the filter 14 is supported by the wire 17 whereby the attaching of the filter may be completed. When the filter is to be detached, it can be detached by deflecting the wire 17 and pulling the filter 14 out of the suction port 8, therefore, troublesome positioning work may be eliminated and any tool may not be necessitated whereby the work to attach the filter 14 to the suction port 8 or detach it from the same port 8 may be facilitated to a large extent.
