Abstract:
Detection of an increase in a mismatch of an antenna of a radio frequency (RF) device and/or a change in a capacitance value of the antenna indicates proximity of a body to the antenna. Upon detection of proximity of a body to the antenna, reduction of transmit power of the RF device may be done to meet Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) level regulations.
Abstract:
The convertor has two voltage comparators (COMP1,COMP2) connected serially via a charge circuit (R7,C2). The converter also has an inverting circuit (TR1) connected after the second comparator (COMP2). The invertor generates a pulse output signal (Fout) at an open drain terminal (RA4). The convertor also has another charge circuit (C1,R5,R6,CLKout). The second charge circuit feeds back the pulse output signal at the open drain terminal of the inverting circuit to the two serially connected voltage comparators.
