    Abstract: A sterile to sterile connection device comprising a connector (4) and one or more coupling devices (6). The connector has body portion which has two openings (14, 16) sealed from the environment so as to form a sterile environment within the connector. At least one of the openings being sealed from the environment by a sterile barrier plug (12). The connector also has a port (10) capable movement within the body of the connector to at least an open and a closed position. The coupling device (6) is formed of a body (18) having two openings and a stem (20) having a bore through at least a portion of the stem. The stem is contained within the body (18) and capable of moving at least linearly through the body between a first and second stem position. One of the openings (24) of the stem is sealed from the environment by a sterile barrier plug (22) and the other is sealed to a presterilized component. The coupling device opening (24) containing the sterile barrier plug (22) is attached to either the inlet or outlet of the connector (4). The port (10) contains a first opening (30) and a second opening (32). Once stem (20) of the coupling device (6) is moved inward toward the connector (4) the sterile plugs (12) and (22) are moved into the first opening pf the port (10). The port (10) then can be moved to its open position aligning its second opening (32) with the openings of the connector body and the opening of the coupling device (6).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a stand for holding disposable filter capsules and is formed of three or more legs, a base above the legs and to which the leg as are attached and three or more arms that are attached to an opposite surface of the base from that of the legs. The arms and legs have at least curved or angled portion that allows for the arms and legs to spread out from the diameter of the base. Preferably, the arms have a second curved or angled portion that then allows the upper portion of the arms to become substantially vertical.
