Abstract: A system for centrally managing traffic prioritisation of 5 a group consisting of a plurality of pairs of end points present in a network, said system comprises: a server (101) which has a module (201) for prioritising or deprioritising streams in the group, said server module (201) includes: a member (202) for interpreting an event; a member (204) for determining severity of the event; a member (205) for composing a prioritisation message according to the event severity, or a de-prioritisation message when the event ends; a member (206) for registering addresses of the end points; and a member (207) for dispatching the message; and at least one client (103) each having a module (209) for working cooperatively with the server module (201), said client module (209) includes: a member (210) for interpreting the message; and a member (211) for executing the prioritisation or de-prioritisation. Also disclosed is a method for centrally managing traffic prioritisation of a group consisting of a plurality of pairs of end points present in a network. Figure 1
