    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining a location of an indoor receiver by using a system comprising at least pair of transmitters having a smart antenna, a transmit angle generator (TAG), a transmit angle controller (TAC), and a positioning packet generator (PPG), the method is characterized by the steps of: providing a plurality of transmission angles of the transmitters (100); generating a plurality of information packets (IP), wherein each IP comprises a transmission angle and a transmitter location (200); broadcasting the plurality of IP to the indoor receiver (300); inputting the plurality of IP into a table (400); selecting IP with the highest received signal strength (RSS) value (500); and calculating the location of the indoor receiver (600) based on the transmission angle and transmitter location of the selected IP.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for directing a Streaming Client or SC (20) to an alternative Access Point or AP (30). The system (100) prevents any single AP (30) from experiencing excessive traffic load by directing the SCs (20) on the same streaming sources to a common AP (30). This is done such that multiple unicast streams from a similar source are converted into a single multicast stream or a least loaded AP (30) is selected to carry the stream if no common multicast channel is found within a Stream-Client-AP (SCAP) database (14). Through this method, each AP (30) carries lesser load, hence reducing overall system bandwidth consumption. Consequently, the overall system bandwidth efficiency is maximised and stream quality is improved. Figure 1
