The present invention provides a system for creating an IaaS image at a remote host machine by a user (202), the system provides a user interface module (302) serving as a platform for user to carry out customization of the IaaS image to be requested. The user (202) request is to be processed by the VM creator module (304) to create a VM raw image, and a bundling module (310) processes the VM raw module to create a IaaS compliance image automatically. A method thereof is also provided.

A system and method for integrated backup solution in virtualization environments makes use of the existing virtualization infrastructure to handle the backup process and peer with infrastructure at a different site for complying with business continuity requirements. The system (200) of the present invention comprising a Backup Controller (210) which further comprises a Web Service Interface (211) component that acts as an interface to the user; a Backup Engine (212) component that manages and coordinates the backup and restore process; a Host Monitor (214) component that monitors host load; a Replication Manager (213) component that manages the replication of backup images from a site to its peer site; a Backup Database (215) component that stores the backup information; a Backup Datastore (231) component that stores the backup information; and a Backup Agent (221) component that manages the backup activity at the node level. The objective of the present invention is achieved through virtualization infrastructure to handle the backup process; and peering with infrastructure at a different site for complying with business continuity requirements. The present invention relates to a system and method to discover network application relationship and to detect communication anomaly within server and server to server by analyzing interaction between network application and service and its dependencies. In particular, the present invention identifies possible anomaly in a network communication and record network packet information for troubleshooting purposes. Any detected changes will be automatically updated in the system configuration. The present invention comprising at least one monitoring system (102); at least one repository (104); and at least one host (106, 108, 110). Five inspection modules which resides within the host (106, 108, 110) (i.e. the Host Inspection Module (106b); Network Service Inspection Module (106c); Blocking Inspection Module (106d); Network Packing Inspection Module (106e); and Anomaly Inspection Module (106f) to discover network application relationship and to detect communication anomaly. Automated test environment deployment for performance testing on laaS Cloud is provided by utilizing metric recommender. The system and method of the present invention comprising a user interface (104) for setting up test performance; a Metric Agent Module (106, 206) for introducing list of suitable metrics to be captured according to performance goals; an Interface Agent Module (212) for interfacing with API (Application Programming Interface) of Performance Test Tool and Cloud Controller; a Deployment Agent Module (108, 208) for provisioning test environment based on test scripts; a Reporting Agent Module (110, 210) for collecting and aggregating test result from Data Store (220) and displaying in portal; a Metric Store (102, 202) for storing list of metrics; a Metric Logger (216) for monitoring and collecting required metrics during test execution; a Data Store (118, 220) for storing test results from Performance Test Tool (114, 218) and Metric Logger (216). The present invention utilizes a metric recommender wherein the performance test metric is automated using physical resources of virtual machine in which the complexity of setting up test environment will be overcome by providing cloud computing to set up test virtual environment. Metrics are aggregated using metric agents to achieve performance goals by iteration to validate and verify all quantitative and qualitative attributes as reliability, stability or resource utilization of the applications.
