    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accelerate copying speed by gripping the end of a paper based on the rotating angle position information of grip means obtained by angle position detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Plural grip claws 341-343 are provided on a transfer drum 34 at regular intervals. Moreover, the angle position detecting means 344 which detects the rotating angle position of the grip claws 341-343 is provided inside the transfer drum 34. Besides, a paper P is wound around the transfer drum 34 by electrifying the transfer drum 34 while the transfer drum 34 is made one rotation in condition where the end of the paper P is gripped by one of the grip claws 341-343 based on the angle position detecting result of the grip claws 341-343. Thus, copying speed can be accelerated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To miniaturize the device, and also, to easily execute its manufacture and maintenance, etc., by providing an optical path length adjusting means for moving forward and backward an optical path branching mirror in an optical path, and also, adjusting the optical path length of each optical path corresponding to the movement of the optical path branching mirror by moving a part of a reflecting mirror. CONSTITUTION:By an optical path length adjusting means 7, not only an optical path branching mirror 28 can be moved forward and backward in an optical path but also the optical path length of each optical path corresponding to the movement of the optical path branching mirror 28 can be adjusted by moving a part of a reflecting mirror. Moreover, by the optical path branching mirror 28, a prescribed image can be projected selectively to an exposure position of each photosensitive body 30a, 30b from a common optical path. Accordingly, a prescribed electrostatic latent image is formed in the respective exposure positions of each photosensitive body 30a, 30b, and by the development, the electrostatic latent image can be converted to a developed image as a toner image. In such a way, the device can be miniaturized, the structure and the control can be simplified, and also, the manufacture and the maintenance, etc., can be executed easily.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve ability for processing a mono-color image by constituting the title device so that paper can be guided to a transfer area without winding about a transfer drum in a mono-color mode. CONSTITUTION:In a full-color mode, the paper P supplied from a paper supply cassette 12 or a paper manual supply part 13 is fed to the transfer drum 34 through a paper conveyance path 4A and the paper P is made to wind about the drum 34 while rotating the drum 34 once. Every time the drum 34 is rotated once, a toner image on a photosensitive drum 30 is sequentially transferred to the paper P, which is fed to a fixation device 5. Meanwhile, it is mono-color mode, the paper P supplied from the cassette 12 or the paper supply part 13 is directly fed to the transfer area T through a paper conveyance path 4B and fed to the device 5 after the toner image formed on the drum 30 is transferred to the paper P.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the assortment up to the number in two times of the number of bins by transporting the paper sheets which are in equal number to that of bins and on which each image is formed onto a sorter and reversing the rest paper sheets on which each image is formed and storing said paper sheets in an intermediate tray and transporting said sheets one by one into the sorter. CONSTITUTION:If, in the one-sided surface copying, the necessary assortment quantity N is two times of the number (n) of bins, n-pieces of the paper sheets on which each image is formed in a copying device body 1 are transported into a sorter 2 successively, and accommodated into n-pieces of bins 2a. The rest succeeding n-pieces of paper sheets on which each image is formed are once accommodated into an intermediate tray 13 through a reversing passage 12, and when the formation of N=2 pieces of images is completed, the stored paper sheets on which each image is formed are sent one by one into a sorter 2 through an image formation part by the rise of the intermediate tray 13 and the operation of a sending-out roller 14, and discharged in the reversed state onto the paper sheets which are accommodated onto the top of each bin 2a. Thus, the assortment up to two times of the number of bins is permitted without increasing the number of bins of the sorter.

Color signals corresponding to color light detecting elements 4g and 4b are amplified based on respective amplification factors stored in a memory at the input of the output control part 10. Further, the color signals corresponding to color light detecting elements 4r, 4g and 4b are not synthesized to one signal but taken out successively as monochromatic signals in the arranging direction of the color light detecting element for each color light detecting element.

A document, when it is fed to a resist roller 9, is once stopped, and the large conveying power part 13a, when its point end A is detected by a detecting means 16, is once stopped. The resist roller 9 and the conveying belt 13 are driven synchronizing, and the document is conveyed by the part 13a with large conveying power of the conveying belt 13. A conveying belt positions its part 13a with large conveying part in a portion with the document present and the part 13b with a small load applied to the contact glass 2 in a portion with no document present, improving a conveying quality.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a transporting roller from running idle on a contact glass in the last stage of discharge action by providing driving a transmission means which obstructs driving transmission at the time of passing based on the detection of the detecting mechanism of an original transporting discharge means. CONSTITUTION:When a detecting mechanism detects that the end portion of an original text sheet passes through the nip position of a discharge roller pair 30 so as to be in a state of transportable, a clutch 32 is cut by this detected signal and driving transmission to an original transporting roller 22 is obstructed so that the driving rotation of the original transporting roller 22 is changed over to following rotation by this obstructing action. As a result, in accordance with that the original text sheet is transported by the discharge roller pair 30, the original transporting roller 22 is driven by tension which acts upon this original text sheet and is for transporting from the discharge roller pair 30, and thereafter when the pointed end portion of the original text sheet passes through between the original transporting roller 22 and a contact glass 6, the rotation of the transporting roller 22 stops. The idle running of the transporting roller 22 on the contact glass 6 in the last stage of discharge action can be prevented in this way.
