Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved heat sink device of high performance at a low cost. SOLUTION: A heat-conductive sheet 22 where a protruding streak 24 and a recess 26 are alternately folded, forming separate fins 28 comprising both edges 30 and 32, constitutes a heat exchange part 18. The folded heat-conductive sheet 22 is formed into a cylinder, and the recess 26 forms a segmented inside cylinder 34, while the protruding streak 24 forms segmented outside cylinder 36 concentric with the inside cylinder 34, and constituting the heat exchange part, with a heat-conductive rod 40 in the segmented inside cylinder 34 formed by the recess 26 provided.

Abstract: An integrated circuit carrier assembly includes a carrier and a socket nestable on one side of the carrier, the other side of the carrier receiving an integrated circuit device. The carrier includes a set of guides, one aligned with each lead of the integrated circuit device. Each guide includes a passage which allows a lead to telescope through the carrier into the socket, and a set of tapered surfaces that guide the lead into the passage. The socket includes a terminal that connects each lead of the integrated circuit device to one of a plurality of more durable contact prongs which may then be inserted into the appropriate receptacles of a printed circuit board or the like.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly for establishing electrical contact between a pair of circuit elements has a pair of mating terminals each adapted to form electrical contact with a respective one of the circuit elements. The terminals cooperate to permit the elements to be pivoted one with respect to the other along an axis of rotation, each of the terminals having a generally plate-like contact portion defining a contact surface oriented substantially normally to the axis of the rotation. The contact surfaces are biased together in rotatable electrical interengagement. A multipiece dielectric housing receives said terminals with each supported in a respective housing piece. The housing pieces are joined together for pivotal movement one with respect to the other. The joining means includes a pair of trunnions formed integrally with one of the housing pieces and a yoke formed integrally with the other housing pieces for receiving the trunnions.
