    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective EMC design. SOLUTION: A gasket (110) is fixed on a bezel (104) which is electrically connected to a front panel (102). A method for electrically connecting the panel (102) to the bezel (104) provides the front panel (102) having an inner surface (112) for forming an aperture (114). In the method, the bezel (104) is formed so as to have a periphery (118), and the inner surface (112) of the aperture (114) is designed so as to receive the vessel (104). Since the gasket (110) is designed so as to be fixed on the periphery (118) of the vessel (104) and connected to the inner surface (112), the inner surface (112) receives the vessel (104), and the vessel (104) is electrically connected to the front panel (102) through the gasket (110).     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device-shielding apparatus that does not require any additional space. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for shielding a device, the device is attached onto a surface, and the device includes a surface for generating electromagnetic energy. At least one ground pad is connected to the surface, and a finger stock is removably connected to the ground pad. A conductive heat sink is connected to the finger stock, and operates so that electromagnetic energy that is generated by the device is shielded. The method for shielding the electromagnetic energy includes arrangement to the surface of at least one ground pad and removable connection to the ground pad of the finger stock. After that, the conductive heat sink is connected to the finger stock, and the finger stock is compressed so that the finger stock can be restored for connecting the conductive heat sink to the device.

Also, providin g a bezel (104) having a perimeter (118), where the inner surface (112) of the cut-out (114) is designed to receive the bezel (104). Affixing a gasket (110) to the perimeter (118) of bezel (104) an the inner surface (112) receiving the bezel (104) where the gasket (110) is designed to be coupled to the inner surface (112), and electrically coupling the bezel (104 ) to the front panel (102) through the gasket (110).

    Abstract: An apparatus for shield a device (102) includes a surface (104) where the device (102) is coupled to the surface (104) and the device produces electromagneti c energy (112). At least one grounded pad (106) is coupled to the surface (104) and a finger stock (108) is removably coupled to the grounded pad (106). A conductive heat sink (110) is coupled to the finger stock (108), where the conductive heat sink (110) operates to shield the electromagnetic energy (112) produced by the device (102). A method of shielding electromagnetic energy (112) includes placing at least one grounded pad (106 ) on a surface (104) and removably coupling a finger stock (108) to the grounded pad (106). Thereafter, coupling a conductive heat sink (110) to the finger stock (108) so that the finger stock (108) restorably compresses such that the conductive heat sink (110) couples to th e device (102).
