Abstract:
A walk-behind mower includes a deck. The deck includes a rear portion, a power source attached to the deck, a plurality of wheels attached to the deck, a handle attached to the rear portion of the deck. Structure is included to enable a distal end of the handle to be selectively located in a plurality of positions. The handle extends upward and rearward from the rear portion of the deck.
Abstract:
A three-stage snow thrower having a housing, a power supply, a longitudinal drive shaft extending from the power supply into the housing, and a lateral drive shaft extending between opposing side walls of the housing and being meshingly engaged with the longitudinal drive shaft within a gear assembly. The first stage assembly includes a plurality of augers attached to the lateral drive shaft for pushing loosened snow axially toward the gear assembly. The second stage assembly includes at least one auger attached to the longitudinal drive shaft for pushing snow from the first stage assembly axially rearward. The third stage assembly includes an impeller that rotates to throw the snow through a chute attached to the housing to expel the snow from the housing.
Abstract:
A walk-behind working tool having a frame, a power source, and a handle attached to the frame is provided. The working tool includes at least one axle operatively connected to the frame and a pair of wheel assemblies connected to the axle. The wheel assemblies include a hub, a rim, a tire, and a flexible vibration dampening assembly that operatively connects the hub and rim, wherein the dampening assembly is configured to reduce the vibration transferred between the rim and hub and through the handle to the operator. The dampening assembly includes a plurality of elastic elements having a spring constant for smoothing out movement of the frame when the working tool is guided over rough or uneven ground.
