Abstract:
A method for detecting tissue abnormality in a tissue sample, comprising: illuminating a tissue sample in vivo with a first light beam having a wavelength selected from the range 390-430 nanometer (nm); applying contrast agent to the tissue sample; capturing a one or more images of the tissue sample; and detecting tissue abnormality based on at least one of color changes in the tissue sample and blood vessel features in the tissue sample appearing in said one or more images.
Abstract:
A method comprising capturing at least one image of a cervical tissue in-vivo; identifying a region of interest (ROI) in said cervical tissue within said at least one image; detecting at least a portion of a vaginal speculum within said at least one image; and determining a position of said portion of said vaginal speculum relative to said ROI.
Abstract:
A method for automated image capture of a body tissue in situ, comprising: providing an imaging device configured to transmit an image stream of a body tissue; and using at least one hardware processor for: receiving the image stream, identifying a medical accessory appearing in the image stream, and capturing multiple images of the body tissue, wherein (i) at least one of the images is captured before said identifying, and (ii) at least one of the images is captured at one or more specified times upon said identifying.
Abstract:
A system comprising: a mobile device, comprising: a camera configured to capture multiple images of a subject; a processor configured to identify a first image of the captured images as a blue frame, wherein the image was captured while the subject was illuminated by blue light, and identify a second image of one of the captured images as a white frame, wherein the image was captured while the subject was illuminated by white light; associate the blue frame with the white frame; detect a feature depicted in the blue frame that is not depicted in the associated white frame, indicate the detection of the feature to a user; and a user interface display configured to separately render the blue frame and the white frame.
