    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stop a test body from fluttering and to prevent the test body from being broken owing to excitation by a panel which has many ventilation holes while stood against an air flow at an upstream position of a test body support position in a wind channel. CONSTITUTION:The panel 1 consisting of the frame 3 and a wire gauge 2 is stood pivotally on the floor 6 of a blade model 7 at the upstream position in the wind channel. The panel 1 is laid face-down on the floor 6 first and the wind velocity in the wind channel is increased gradually. The signal of an accelerometer 8 mounted on the blade model 7 is monitored during this period and when the blade model 7 begins to flutter, a signal is sent out to an unshown panel driving device to raise the panel 1 speedily from the floor 6. An air flow is reduced in speed and rectified by the many ventilation holes of the panel 1 to stop the blade model 7 from fluttering. At this time, the disturbance of the air flow behind the panel 1 is small, so the blade model 7 never flutters owing to excitation after the stop of the fluttering.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve pseudo sinusoidal wave vibration without using any advanced control rules and at the same time automatically change the average elevation of a wing model, the vibration amplitude, and the frequency by controlling three motors with a personal computer. SOLUTION: After the average elevation and vibration amplitude of a wind model connected to a hollow shaft 1 are initially set, an elevation-setting motor 11 is rotated. Then, a rotary pulley 10 and a rotary base 9 are rotated via a ball screw 14 and a slide plate 13, and an amplitude-setting motor 8 is rotated with the same rotary center as an amplitude-setting pulley 7 and the pulley 10. At this time, when the rotation of a vibration motor 6 and the amplitude- setting motor 8 is locked, a slide rod 3 is locked and a vibration pulley 2 is rotated, and the elevation of the wind model can be set via a hollow shaft 1. Also, when the rotary shaft of a rotary inclined plate 5 is inclined, the vibration motor 6 is rotated, the slide rod 3 is subjected to linear or rotary movement via the movement of a connecting rod 4, linear movement being taken out by connecting fitment 12 is converted into rocking movement via a steel belt, is transmitted from a hollow shaft 1 to a wing mode type, thus drawing a pseudo sinusoidal wave trace.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke exhaust device easily installed downstream of a model, easily removed and low in cost by straightening air flow sucked from smoke suction ports detachably fitted downstream of the model disposed in an air duct, and evacuating smoke by an exhaust fan through a flow regulating valve. SOLUTION: When a blower 15 is driven, air flow delivered from the blower 15 passes a flow straightening net 30, reaches a blade model 5 together with smoke blown off from a smoke blow-off device 2 and visualizes air flow around. The smoke having passed the blade model 5 is sucked from a plurality of smoke suction ports 16 by the suction force of an exhaust fan 20 acting through a flow straightening part 17 and a flow regulating valve 19 and exhausted outside from a filter 21 provided at an exhaust port of a smoke exhaust duct 18. The suction quantity of smoke by the exhaust fan 20 is regulated by the flow regulating valve 19, and air is taken in from the outside by the sucked portion of air flow sucked from the smoke suction ports 16. The smoke is thus positively sucked and exhausted outside without causing the turbulence of air flow of a measuring part.

SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a smoke supply pipe 4, two ducts 5, 6 linked to the smoke supply pipe 4, and a smoke blowout support 2 having a smoke diffuser 3. In this smoke blowout device, one end side of the two ducts 5, 6 is communicated with the smoke supply pipe 4 through a resistor 7, the ducts 5, 6 themselves are communicated with each other on the other end side. A smoke blowout opening 9 having a resistor 10 extending over the roughly full length of the duct 6 on one side is installed, and communicated with the smoke diffuser 3, smoke is supplied from the smoke supply pipe 4 to the two ducts 5, 6, the smoke is blown out uniformly from the smoke blowout opening 9 formed on the duct 6 on one side, and the smoke is blown out from the smoke diffuser 3.
