    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve combustion efficiency and reduce emission of unburnt substances by providing a heat insulating material wall where a wall surface enclosing a combustion chamber is formed with a non-metal heat insulating material on an outer cylinder of the combustor, and providing an air passage in the heat insulating material wall, and further allowing desired air to pass through and be distributed into the combustion chamber from the air passage. SOLUTION: Heat insulating material walls 2, 2' are provided at a portion corresponding to an annular passage between outer cylinders 1, 1' of a gas turbine combustor 10, and a wall surface of the combustion chamber 3 is constructed inside therof. A fuel nozzle 5 and an air whirling unit 6 or a burner 7 are disposed at the center of a combustion chamber head part wall 4. Thereupon, the heat insulating material walls 2, 2' are mounted so as to have small gap passages 8, 8' between the outer cylinders 1, 1' whereby the outer cylinders 1, 1' and the heat insulating material walls 2, 2' are prevented from being raised in temperature. Further, there are provided air passages 11, 11' for feeding air into the combustion chamber 3 which are communicated with an air inflow inlet 12'. Hereby, high temperature of the combustion chamber 3 wall surface is endured, and the outer wall on the side of the outer cylinders 1, 1' is prevented from being overheated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain rotary type heat exchange equipment made free from a power loss and chipping even when a pressing force of a seal against a heat exchange disk is increased so as to prevent leakage of gas in the equipment. CONSTITUTION:A rubbing surface 2 of a ceramic thin plate 9 of a heat exchange disk on a gas leakage seal is covered with a thin layer 10 of ceramic or the like having a close structure formed of metal or by a CVD method. The rubbing surface 2 is made a smooth surface, and by selecting a heat- resistant material of metal, ceramic or the like constituting a cover, it is possible to improve frictional and abrasive characteristics and to attain a high performance and a long lifetime of a gas turbine or the like.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability of a fuel injection device or a flame holding device by a method wherein a fuel chamber is arranged just before a stagnation point in a flame stabilizer in an after-burner of a turbo-jet engine, fuel is flowed out along a surface of the flame holder to cool the flame holder. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection device is installed just before an extreme end of a flame holder 3. Openings 6 such as small holes or slits are formed at a fuel pipe 5 of ring-shape facing against the flame holder 3. Fuel is injected from the openings 6 along a surface of the flame holder 3. With such an arrangement as above, the fuel flows along the surface of the flame stabilizer 3 to cool the flame stabilizer 3, and at the same time the fuel shields the air of high temperature with its fuel film 7. The extreme end of the flame stabilizer 3 is shielded by a fuel pipe 5 and is not exposed to any high temperature air. Since the extreme end of the flame holder is cooled by the fuel, it is possible to improve durability and to restrict an increasing of temperature at a wall surface with a gasification heat even against the high temperature air stream due to a film cooling with fuel.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately accomplish the temperature distribution measurements of a gas dischange side by arranging an ultrared video device at a preset angle with respect to the flow direction of heated gases. CONSTITUTION:There is fixed to the outlet of a heated gas flow pipe 1 a grating element 2 which is formed with a plurality of passages 3 arranged in the flow direction of the gases. On the other hand, an ultrared video device 4 is disposed at a position spaced from the main flow in a manner to observe the discharge side 5 of the grating element 2. In this instance, if the angle between the outlet end of the grating element 2 and the plane normal to the flow is denoted at alpha, the device 4 is placed at an angular position of 2alpha with respect to the gas flow. Thus, it is possible to accurately measure the temperature distribution of the gas discharge side 5.
