Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the correct antenna development test on the ground by detecting the shift of a reflecting plate by the cooperation of a detected part and the detection part of a carrier and shifting the carrier on a guide rail in correspondence with the shift so that the gravity compensating tension corresponds to the gravity direction, in the development of the reflecting plate. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of guide rails 20 which constitute a gravity compensating system are laid in correspondence with the developed passages of a plurality of reflecting plates 11 of a development antenna 10, and each carrier 21 is installed in shiftable ways onto each guide rail 20. Each carrier 21 is equipped with a drive motor built in, and a plurality of pulleys 22 are arranged in the lower edge part of the drive motor in correspondence with the guide rail 20. A string-shaped suspending member 23 is laid onto each pulley 22, and the reflecting plate 11 which is development-driven by a development driving mechanism is installed at one edge, and a weight member 24 for compensating gravity is installed at the other edge. The relative position change is detected by the luminous diode 25 of the reflecting plate 11 and the detection part 27 of the carrier 21, and a driving motor for the carrier 21 is drive-controlled according to the detection signal.

The shift quantity of the suspended member 23 in development is detected by a potentiometer 26 which is interlocking with a detecting member 25, and a driving motor for the carrier 21 is drive- controlled according to the detection signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress a random error and decrease a measurement error by connecting the input terminal of a beam scanning switch which is not connected to an RF circuit part to a room-temperature dummy and monitoring the temperature of the room-temperature dummy by a temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION:When a primary radiator 6 is connected to an RF circuit part 27 through switches 10, 22, and 24, switches 11 - 13 are connected to the sides of room-temperature dummies 15 - 17. Then noise temperatures of input noise radio waves 2 - 5 from respective points on the ground are denoted as T1 - T4. Further, there is no loss at each part, isolation is LISO at each part, and the physical temperatures of the room-temperature dummies are equal to the noise temperatures and denoted as T5 - T8. At this time, the noise temperature T0 of a noise radio wave inputted to the circuit part 27 is found. An error DELTAT'=T0-T1 is found to obtain an equation. Then the physical temperatures (noise temperature) T5 - T7 of the room temperature dummies are monitored by temperature sensors 18 - 20, so their values are already known. Therefore, T1 can be calculated from T0.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely prevent the resonance to a structure by providing a pulse number generating part for generating a pulse number signal corresponding to directional control information, and a driving signal generating part for generating a driving signal having a pulse distribution of a random number. CONSTITUTION:To a pulse number generating part 10, directional error information from a directional error detection sensor is inputted. As a result, this pulse number generating part 10 generates a pulse number signal of (n) for determining the quantity driven in a control period corresponding to its directional control information and outputs it to a driving signal generating part 11. In this driving signal generating part 11, a random number generating part 11a is provided, and a driving signal obtained by converting the pulse number signal inputted by this random number generating part 11a to a pulse distribution of a random number distribution is generated, and outputted to an antenna driving part 12. This antenna driving part 12 drives a stepping motor which is not shown in the figure in accordance with the driving signal and brings an antenna to directional control. In this case, since a frequency which follows up driving of the stepping motor of the antenna driving part 12 cannot be specified, excitation energy becomes low and an excitation of various structures can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To curtail the number of parts and to miniaturize the device by providing a signal generating means for generating a bias signal for a scan search. CONSTITUTION:The antenna tracking device is constituted so that in the case of tracking target, a switch 12 is turned off by a switching control part, and its movable contact (a) is separated from a fixed contact (b). Also, in the case of executing a scan search operation, first of all, the switch 12 is turned on and the movable contact (a) is connected to the fixed contact (b). As a result, a bias signal from a scan search signal generating part 13 is supplied to a control part 11 together with a target angle signal from a target angle generating part 10. In such a way, the control part 11 generates a scan search signal from the target angle signal and the bias signal and drives an antenna driving mechanism, and allows it to execute a scan search operation. In this case, since an angle control part and a driving control part for the target tracking operation and the scan search operation become unnecessary, the number of parts decreases.

A string-shaped suspending member 23 is laid onto each pulley 22, and the reflecting plate 11 which is development-driven by a development driving mechanism is installed at one edge, and a weight member 24 for compensating gravity is installed at the other edge. The turning angle of the reflecting plate 11 in development is detected by a rotary encoder 25, and a pulse motor for the carrier 21 is drive-controlled according to the detection signal.

In this case, ground surface intervals in the satellite travel right-angle direction of a beam foot point on the ground surface become equal, the same intervals are obtained even in different frequency bands, and the same point can be observed nearby the center of scanning, so when a user of observation data processes the data, a special interpolating method need not be used in the satellite travel right-angle direction. Therefore, the processing calculation is simplified and speeded up and many users can utilize the observation data speedily and accurately at low cost.
