Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display device which enables switching of display contents by changing the vertical visual field direction when a user looks at a display part, and a picture display method.
SOLUTION: The picture display device is constituted in such a manner that a plurality of pixels 2 are divided into at least a plurality of first groups GP1 which are extended in the horizontal direction respectively and display a picture A and a plurality of second groups GP2 which are extended in the horizontal direction respectively and display a picture B having the display contents different from the picture A. The first groups GP1 and the second groups GP2 are alternately disposed in the vertical direction. A lens array 7 is disposed near the surface of the display part 1 and is constituted by a plurality of lens cells 7a which are extended in the horizontal direction respectively. Each lens cell 7a emits incident light from the first groups GP1 in a first vertical visual field direction and, at the same time, emits incident light from the second groups GP2 in a second vertical field direction different from the first vertical visual field direction.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method presuming a remaining time of power generation adaptable for a small type fuel cell using for a power supply of a small electronic apparatus such as a cellular phone or a portable computer.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is equipped with a fuel battery cell and a module changing an electric and/or physical property of an inside material with the use of the cell and fuel used directly or indirectly for the fuel cell. The method is to presume a remaining time capable of supplying the fuel or hydrogen generated from the fuel to the fuel battery cell, in which, a plurality of electrodes are provided inside the module, an electric and/or physical property between at least two electrodes from the plurality of the electrodes is measured, then the remaining time is presumed from the result of the measurement.

Abstract: There is provided a method for estimating a remaining electricity-generation-enabled time which can also be applied to a small-size fuel cell used as a power source of a small-size electronic device such as a mobile telephone and a portable computer. A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, fuel used directly or indirectly for the fuel cell, and a module having an internal substance whose electric and/or other characteristic changes as the fuel is used. The method estimates the remaining time capable of supplying the fuel or hydrogen generated from the fuel to the fuel cell. A plurality of electrodes are arranged inside the module. By measuring electric and/or physical characteristic between at least two of the electrodes, the remaining time is estimated from the measurement result.
