    Abstract: In einer Anordnung von Leuchten (10) steuert eine erste Leuchte (12) die anderen Leuchten: Sie legt das Sollabstrahlverhalten fest, insbesondere aufgrund von Signalen von einer Uhr (30), einem Bewegungsmelder (32) und einem Dämmerungssensor (34), und übermittelt entsprechende Informationen über das von ihr im Betrieb ohnehin abgegebene Licht, indem dessen Intensität mit Frequenzen variiert wird, die vom menschlichen Auge nicht erfasst werden können. Es bedarf daher keiner gesonderter Signalleitungen oder gesonderter Sende- und Empfangsvorrichtungen außer den normalen Lichtquellen (26). Wenn die Leuchten (12, 14) und (16) zusätzlich noch mit eigenen Stromversorgungseinheiten (18) ausgestattet sind, ist eine Verkabelung gar nicht notwendig, und die Leuchten (12, 14) und (16) können ohne eine Verkabelung berücksichtigen zu müssen aufgestellt werden.
