Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching means for a reflector lamp which reduces deflection and breakage of a lamp assembly. SOLUTION: An attachment assembly 10 is provided with a reflector 18, an internal jacket attachment assembly 14, and an attaching rod 12 having a spiral part 15 formed thereon, spiral part 15 surrounding the internal jacket attachment assembly 14 and the spiral part 15 being fitted onto the a neck region 16 of the reflector 18, a lower leg part 17 of the attaching rod 12 is used instead of a pseudo-lead wire 19 in an internal jacket press region. As a result of this, the lower leg part 17 is fitted in a reflector eyelet opening, and an end part 20 on the opposite side of the spiral part 15 extends upward and is connected to the upper end part of the internal jacket attachment assembly 14.

Abstract: A mounting assembly for a reflector lamp. The mounting assembly comprises a 0.050'' diameter stainless steel rod that has been formed into a three-turn spiral. The spiral surrounds the inner jacket mount assembly of the reflector lamp, and fits into the neck region of the reflector. The lower leg of the spiral either takes the place of, or augments a "dummy" lead presently used in the inner jacket press, so that one or both fit into the reflector eyelet opening in the neck of the reflector. The opposite end of the spiral piece extends upwardly, and is connected to the upper lead of the Model No. PAR30L inner jacket mount assembly of the Model No. MPD70 lamp.

Abstract: The holder assembly e.g. for reflector lamp comprises a reflector, an assembly for holding the inner sleeve and a fastening bar which develops in to a spiral shaped piece, which surrounds the inner sleeve holding assembly and fits into a neck region of the reflector. A lower leg of the bar takes the place of a dummy lead in an inner sleeve constriction of the sleeve holding assembly so that it fits into a reflector bottom contact opening in the neck region of the reflector. An opposite end of the spiral-shaped part of the fastening bar stretches upwards and is joined to an upper lead of the holding assembly.
