In accordance with the invention, refining raw materials containing organic constituents, such as solids containing oil and/or bitumen, in particular oil or tar sand or oil shale, is effected with the following steps: - supplying the raw materials to a reactor and expelling fuel gases at a temperature of about 300 to 1000°C, preferably about 500 to 800°C, introducing the solids left in the reactor including the non-evaporated fractions of heavy hydrocarbons into a furnace, burning the heavy hydrocarbons left in the solids in the furnace at a temperature of 600 to 1500°C, preferably 700 to 900°C, recirculating hot solids from the furnace into the reactor, wherein the oxidizing atmosphere of the furnace is separated from the atmosphere of the reactor by means of a blocking device.

resumo patente de invenção: "processo e usina para a produção e tratamento adicional de gás combustível". a presente invenção refere-se à produção de gás combustível e à realização de um processo metalúrgico, materiais carbonáceos, por exemplo, carvão ou biomassa, reagidos com um gás contendo oxigênio em um primeiro estágio do processo para obter um gás combustível que contém monóxido de carbono, hidrogênio, óxido de carbono e/ou vapor, em que o gás combustível obtido é resfriado a uma temperatura de 300 a 600°c, preferivelmente 350 a 450°c, e subsequentemente submetido a uma separação de sólidos, e em que, em um segundo estágio do processo, o gás combustível é carregado a pelo menos um queimador do processo metalúrgico. o gás combustível da separação de sólidos é diretamente fornecido ao pelo menos um queimador do segundo estágio do processo, em que, após resfriamento, a temperatura do gás combustível é mantida dentro do intervalo de 300 a 600°c, preferivelmente 350 a 450°c, minimizando as perdas de calor e/ou fornecimento de calor.

Un proceso de reducción directa para un material metalífero sólido que tiene una distribución de tamaños departícula que comprende al menos en parte partículas de tamaño micrónico, proceso que comprende suministrar elmaterial metalífero, un material sólido carbonoso, un gas que contiene oxígeno, y un gas de fluidización a un lechofluidizado en una vasija y mantener el lecho fluidizado en una vasija, reducir al menos parcialmente el materialmetalífero en la vasija, y descargar una corriente de producto que comprende el material metalífero al menosparcialmente reducido de la vasija, y proceso que se caracteriza por (a) establecer y mantener una zona rica en carbono dentro del lecho fluidizado; (b) hacer pasar el material metalífero, con inclusión del material metalífero, a lo largo de la zona rica encarbono; (c) inyectar el gas que contiene oxígeno en la zona rica en carbono y oxidar el material metalífero, el materialsólido carbonoso y otros sólidos y gases oxidables y causar una aglomeración controlada de las partículas; y (d) controlar la aglomeración por ajuste de las tasas de alimentación de uno cualquiera o más del materialmetalífero, el material carbonoso, la temperatura de reacción y el gas que contiene oxígeno.

A process for the production and/or treatment of at least one metal in a reactor includes discharging a waste gas stream via a waste gas conduit and after-treating the waste gas stream by supplying a cooling gas and/or a cooling gas mixture. The after-treating includes injecting the cooling gas and/or cooling gas mixture into the waste gas conduit on a side of the waste gas conduit facing the reactor, at a high velocity and substantially tangentially with respect to a main flow direction of the waste gas. A volume of the cooling gas and/or the cooling gas mixture injected into the waste gas conduit is adjusted so as to reduce a mixing temperature below a melting temperature of the molten particles and/or a condensation temperature of the vaporous constituents of the waste gas stream.

An apparatus for reducing a metalliferous material in a fluidised bed comprises a vessel (3) for containing the fluidised bed, a means (5) for supplying the metalliferous material, a solid carbonaceous material, an oxygen-containing gas, and a fluidising gas into the vessel for forming the fluidised bed in the vessel. The oxygen-containing gas is supplied by one or more oxygen-containing gas injection lances (9) each having a lance tip (11) with an outlet that is positioned for injecting the oxygen-containing gas in a downward flow into the vessel within a range of plus or minus 40 degrees to the vertical. The lance includes a central pipe for the oxygen-containing gas and a passageway located outwardly of the central pipe for injection shrouding gas.

A direct reduction process for a metalliferous material includes supplying a solid carbonaceous material and an oxygen-containing gas into a fluidized bed in a first vessel and generating heat by reactions between the oxygen-containing gas and the solid carbonaceous material and any other oxidizable solids and gases in the fluidized bed and discharging a hot off-gas stream containing entrained solids. The process also includes supplying the metalliferous material to a fluidized bed in a second vessel and supplying the hot off-gas stream containing entrained solids from the first vessel to the fluidized bed in the second vessel and partially reducing the metalliferous feed material in the solid state in the fluidized bed and discharging a product stream of partially reduced metalliferous material and an off-gas stream containing entrained solids.
